The mic was easy to set up and sounds great out of the box! A really good price too! Depending on what your using it for there are different pre-sets on the mic itself and more on the free application blue yeti gives to you. I currently use it for recording videos and live streaming so I changed settings in my recording software to make it sound perfect for my intended use! Would highly recommend to anyone trying to film, podcast, music, or stream!

For international training and trouble shooting problems with my clients this is great. I was quiet surprised at the clarity and sound it delivers. Very impressed.

I purchased this to upgrade from my blue snowball and is a clear upgrade. There is a touch of am who is you don't get some sort of foam anti reflective sound wall.

Sound quality is great! I recommend getting a pop filter as well but definitely useable without it!

Great sound quality and adjustments. My other microphones pick up a lot of background noise but this one doesn’t. My only gripe with it is that there’s aren’t more adjustments in the app for the price. It’s an expensive microphone and I still have to go out and buy software to make the quality adjustments for it. Otherwise great buy!

This microphone is perfect for anybody who wants to get great quality and connect with a usb. Very convenient and usually does the job. For singers you really need to adjust the sound in post to get it to where you need.

Many of my friends own this microphone and had nothing but good things to say about it so I thought I would give it a try. Once I got it I could see what my friends were raving over. This mic is great. I love have control over muting with a button on the mic itself and the adjustable gain is very useful. Anyone looking for a microphone that will make it seem that you are talking to the person like you are right next to them this is the mic for you.

I’m really pleased with the sound quality of this microphone. It’s one of those “workhorses” that’s been around for awhile. Good value!

This microphone is awesome and exactly what we needed. I did not give it 5 stars because it did not work when it arrived. I submitted a help desk ticket with Blue Yeti for assistance before returning it to Best Buy. It took five days for a response to our ticket. In the meantime, we really needed this microphone so we begin to research the issue. The light was illuminated on the microphone but it would not connect to the computer (we tried four different computers). After hours of research, we determined that we received a faulty connection cable with our product. We requested that a replacement cord be sent to us. The only response we received was "we are happy you resolved the issue".

Makes me feel broadcast ready. . One downside is that it does not "come" with its own software. That took sometime for me to locate and determine, what software I could install. I still haven't hooked it up to a particular software to add audio to a visual track. So, the device is well worth it. It matches my computer equipment ensemble. I am not carrying it anywhere so, I like its size, and it rests stably on my large desk. It's fun.

This is an excellent LARGE microphone for music production. Very well made.

Upgraded to the blue yeti from the blue snowball. Great microphone. I use it for gaming, voice overs and video chats. Sound quality is very good and even filters out some of the background noises. For example you can hear my dog squeaking a toy in the background on my blue snowball, but without any adjustments the blue yeti doesn’t pick it up, which is awesome for out of the box!
