    I was shocked to see that mics are so expensive when my son's headphone / mic stopped working and he wanted to split the items up individually. This one does seem well constructed and has good quality -so overall happy with my purchase because Best Buy was in line with other sellers and I love their warrenty options for all pricey electronics.

    I needed a mic for my YouTube videos and to create voice-overs for commercials and promos for clients and had been eyeing the Blue Yeti for a while and finally got a chance to purchase one.     Packaging is great, quite appealing. Overall design is wonderfull, however the included base/stand offers no shock protection. You should invest in a shock mount asap.
