It requires an adapter, of course (microUSB to USB). The app I use is the Audio Video Recorder Pro, ver 6.0. All these elements work great together. The mic makes recordings that are far superior to the built-in Note5 mic, as one should expect. And it does, with deep lows and full-bodied sound.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.overall this mic is a very good condenser microphone on a pc with the right settings but I returned mine because I was looking for a mic for console streaming and you can’t really change any of the software on the PlayStation and the default settings on the mic aren’t the best and the mic is really sensitive so it picks up a lot of background noise, you can’t speak too loudly when you’re close to the mic because it cracks and pops (clips) even with the gain set to the lowest and the lowest microphone setting on PlayStation is still clips when speak to close to the mic. if you’re planning on getting a mic for the PlayStation 5 I would recommend getting a dynamic mic.

We'd like to let you know that the Blue Yeti is officially not compatible with PlayStation 5. It is only compatible with Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.14 or later. Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Mic quality is very good and worth the buy, its best to buy this with some sort of sound proofing in you're area of use because the Mic does pick up quite literally everything, the mic is also compatible with most ligtech softwares which allows for major customization, even without the software the mic is really good with the 4 adjustable modes, there was only one major backlash when buying the product which lead me to buying a new cord, which was only 7$ but basically the cord was very loose, and when reading other reviews it seems like this is very common with this mic, but other than the one cord problem the mic is really good

It is slightly heavy but that's because it is solidly built. It gives a quality sound which makes it suitable for professional use. The instructions that come with the mic are easy to follow when setting equipment up.
