USB cord poor quality

The mic itself is solid and heavy, all metal. The issue is the USB cord. After testing the mic only once, the connection to the mic on the USB cord bent. There was no pressure put on the cord.

Had a slight (barely perceptible) hum for a week after applesauce session.

Due to the pandemic, she had to livestream her in-person lectures (hybrid of in-person and distance learning) to students at home. Initially she was using just her laptop mic, but when I heard that, I just KNEW I had to get her this. Her students appreciated the upgraded!

Installs with no drivers and works like crazy. You can spend more but the incremental improvement would be lost on me. Did not try the cheaper microphones in a comparison - so I can't say they would not be fine. But I can say I am extremely happy with my microphone and would buy it again. Using it for content creation/online class development.
