However, this mic makes the user sound much quieter than intended in-game use. It is much easier to use than a laptop built in mic. I would say it is an ok 3/5 tool

We have very expensive telephone conferencing systems in our conference room, but this time I needed to use Skype for the whole group of us in a big room. This mic blows away anything we've used before. True 360 pickup, and excellent clarity. The other end of the call was amazed.

Great Little Mic!

I use it for gaming with friends, since headsets hurt my head, and it does a pretty unbelievable job! I have no sound dampening, and have both a fan and speakers behind it and it usually blocks both those noises out and just relays my voice. It occasionally will pick up audio from my speakers but I can't blame it for my weird, bad setup. Once I get a pair of earbuds or headphones I like, that will be a problem of the past. Absolutely a pro level mic on an amateur budget
