I don't have to have it in front of my face in order for it to pick up my voice. It does pick up on desk vibrations and my computer fan though. Something to keep in mind. It suits my needs though.

I don’t stream or record anything really so getting a budget one was fine and my friends say my voice comes in super clear now! Setting it up was a hassle though— I did record with it briefly so I could hear the quality myself and the volume comes in super low. Had to boost my mic properties x100% and reinstall the drivers a few times before restarting my PC for it to work. Looking online this seems to be a common issue. Only reason I’d take a star off.
