    I purchased the "Snowball" microphone to improve the sound in weekly meetings. We typically have up to 25 people in the room who are distanced and masked. I have found that the Snowball picks up the conversation and speech from about 30 feet away. Listeners have told me that it is clear and concise from each person who speaks, no matter where they are in the room. I had to play with it a bit to get it adjusted to the room, but once that was done I have had no issues with it.

    I liked the idea of a blue mic that coyly be nice and preety for the desktop and give me that prestine blue microphone quality, but what I got was something that looked great but lagging heavily in the performance area. I don't know if it was my windows 10 but I have the latest gen i7 quad-core, ssd, and it was still horrible on the latency. Great probaly for pobcasting.

    Decided to invest on this mic because my peers at work use it for CBT development. I do my own recordings at home for Vcasts and wanted to have a mic that was powerful so I didn't have to lean in to be heard by the mic. After a few tests, I haven't been able to achieve that so cannot tell the improvement over the basic USB Logitec mic I purchased for $19. May need to play with settings but not sure of the benefits.
