Mic is broken

The Sound quality is fantastic. But I have only used this mic 3 times and this morning when I took it out of the box and connected it. It wasn’t working anymore. The red light on the mic won’t turn on and the mic won’t get picked up by my PS4. I tried hooking it up to my laptop as well and it’s not working. I don’t know how it could have possibly broke. Since I never dropped it and always put it back in the box after using it. I’m hoping that it’s a simple fix and it’s just the chord that’s not working properly. I’m very disappointed in the product and would like either a refund or a replacement...
