Excellent, one of the best microphones ideal for audio podcasts and radio

Perfect for family zoom calls. i connect my laptop to my TV and put this mic in front of the TV. Everyone in the room is heard crystal clear. I also use a panoramic hd webcam, connected to the laptop and set it in front of the tv as well. Much better than using the mic on your laptop. We get together with other families and play Jackbox and Use Your Words.

Great sound quality, easy to use, lots of feature, excellent workmanship

This is an excellent Mic for the price. Like the control knob on the front and that it has 4 patterns to choose from with a button on the back. People in zoom meeting say my sound is very good and clear. I would give it 5 stars but having problems with the free software that has additional options. At first the software wouldn't download completely. Now the software downloaded yet won't recognize the mic is connected. The laptop says it is connected and working. The company won't respond to emails or help.

Excellent microphone, everything sounds clear. I have a friend that tested it for making music and everything sound perfect with proper settings. I like that you can block out surrounding noises so that it can pick up your voice if you have the microphone facing you. I use it to game online and a little of streaming and no issues so far.

This is a good beginner's microphone. I love the blue voice customization that it has. I don't like that it disconnects randomly, and I'm not sure how to fix it. My friends have complimented my mic and other people that I meet in games. I do recommend a pop-filter so that your p's and b's don't sound harsh. The back button that changes the tone is frustrating at times because I'd want to move my mic around, and boom, I clicked on it, and now I have to go back and change it again.

So there are many options for mic's for podcasting and yutube etc, but many of them require high end audio equipment in addition to it. This one is a great entry level+ tool in that it has plenty of built in versatility in the device and is simple to use with a direct USB plug in for it, It works great, and the BLUE microphone quality is not spared on this device. Highly recommend it.

I’m absolutely in love with this mic. Great performance. Links to the Logitech software and allows you to change all types of settings.. My friends say I sound like a radio broadcaster. lol. I’m in love. This mic is awesome! Recommend purchasing the boom arm along with it.. Works fantastically! If you’re thinking about purchasing think no more! Best mic I’ve ever owned.

Bought this mic when the whole world turned upside down due to COVID-19. My wife uses it for interacting with her violin studio students (speaking and playing). Volume and gain adjustments are a plus and the controls are conveniently located on the front of the mic. It is also used for English lessons with students in China. Sound is picked up well with normal speaking levels.

The quality of my voice has greatly improved, but it will pick up any vibrations from your desk if you put it on with the base stand. I stacked a few pieces of foam from the packaging to dampen the vibrations from my desk and my friends can't hear me typing on my mechanical keyboard. If you have a boom arm this would be a really good mic for it.

This microphone has stepped up our son’s voiceover auditions. You can hear the quality in the recordings. Much better than using the computer microphone to record.

Im very happy with the mic itself, Fully controllable from the mic without needing to use software for mic pattern, headphone volume, monitoring balance, and of course gain. Software is available to adjust finer details in pitch and has some good presets. Finding a boom arm is a bit tricky and you end up needing to spend in the 100 dollar range because of the weight. After playing more and doing more research post purchase i would say there are cheaper options that will do just as good of a job.

It's probably my own fault, but I expected this model to be able to record a group setting better than the original Yeti. However, after multiple tests, I found the original yeti to be better for group settings and this mic better for an individual or 1-2 person interview. This mic does appear to sound better for individual recordings. The build quality is also disappointing because the Yeti original feels more solid. It's a good mic just not what I expected.

I love my Blue Yeti X! It was very easy plug-and-play, and the software from Blue Microphones is very helpful. It's a VERY sensitive microphone, so I absolutely recommend using a boom arm and shock mount. If you have a loud voice like me, the gain doesn't need to be set very high at all. The button for omni, stereo, bidirectional, and cardioid works very well!

I love this mic. I switch from Xbox to pc to play my games and have always used the Astro A50 headset, even with my laptop for gaming. Switch out to a desktop and a wired headset and figured I would try this out. I absolutely love it. I have it sitting about 3 feet away from me and you can hear it on stream like I was sitting right beside you.

Needed this for all of the on-line meetings I have to run and attend. wanted to boost sound quality for the receivers and it has certainly done the trick. It also cuts out all of the background noise - even when people are cutting grass outside of your window, the listener doesn't hear it. Great product. Super easy to set up and does what it should do.
