In my opinion it absolutely is if you are needing more control over your sound and are seeking a usb mic that provides great options.

If you’re looking at this microphone, you’ll need a quiet & the “smaller” the better room. No ceiling fans for sounds to echo from, need carpet etc. I ended up using sound panels on my walls. Again I love this microphone for gaming, recording & streaming. But if you don’t have a official gaming room i’d choose another.
