Too technical of a microphone
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a good mic, but requires a lot of technical work for it to sound good. It tries to emulate everything on-board, meaning it has pieces of hardware that “enhance” the mic so it can sound good as a plug-and-play. Instead, it makes the mic worse. You have to fine-tune this beast. If you’re on windows, or ma, go to the microphone settings and turn the volume all the way up, and on your yeti turn the notch to the very left so there’s only one dot light up. Or turn the notch to the very right until all dots are light up, but turn the virtual sound all the way to 1 on your computer. If you’re gonna use the Logitech application to further mess with the microphone, try downloading some pre-sets and fine tune them as well. The Logitech app comes with a way to record your sound for a few seconds and hear it back on a loop, so you can make adjustments and hear a live feedback on how it affects your voice. Logitech did something very horrible and that is that even though, presets that people share should be universal; they limit them to the device you have. I have this microphone, but if you search online for this very same microphone, but the World of Warcraft edition (a video game collaboration they did) it will treat the WoW edition as one microphone and this yeti as another one even though they are exactly the same thing down to the hardware! Horrible decision. So if you have the WoW edition I feel sorry for you cause you’re limited to how many presets you can use by the amount of people that own the WoW edition. Logitech turned a good microphone into a nightmare by changing a lot of things, bringing exclusivity to their microphones depending on which one you bought and so forth. This mic requires a lot of tuning which for being a USB mic that shouldn’t be the case. That’s the only reason why people don’t like USB and prefer the old school ones, because the old school ones you can manually adjust the settings and keep it that way, whereas with this microphones those virtual settings can mess up, or reset themselves and you have to manually adjust them again, THAT’S if you noticed they’re messed up.

Reasonably good
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for relatively casual use but probably not great for any serious professional use. Bought it as a replacement for an original yeti and it seems to perform about the same with a sleeker aesthetic.

Great USB mic
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very good USB plug and play mic. Once I had it plugged in my PC recognized it right away and I opened up the Logitech Software and was able to make edits to the BLUE voice presets. Gain is a little too high out of the box and USB cord that came with the mic itself has issues staying connected to the mic but that’s a simple fix I needed a much longer cord anyway for my set up.

Great mic but don’t use the Blue Yeti software
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It really takes some tender love and care to get this mic up and running properly. I ended up using the Logitech mic software over the Blue Yeti software after submitting a ticket to support reporting that the Blue Yeti software was not detecting my mic.

Great Microphone
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No complaints with this microphone, have been using mine for online podcasts and this has been a dream, the setup can be a little difficult to understand but once you get it it smooth sailing from there.

Yeti X pro
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sound recording, etc. The only problem is the micro usb connector to the micro bottom of the microphone. I accidentally bent the connector while swiveling the microphone and had to purchase a new usb micro cord. The micro usb is a pain in the... to connect. It seem like they could update with a usb-c connector. I’m very happy with everything else.

Good mic for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mic is my first USB mic I've owned. So I have no background on how these sound compared to other USB mics. I do like how it connects to ghub software and you can download voice presets from a community of people who upload them. Makes me feel professional while creating content.

Great, but one flaw
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mic for voice as people ask "what mic are you using?? It sounds like you're in HD" but only downside in my opinion is the micro-USB interface. The cord definitely isn't firmly in the mic and if you use a boom arm at all it could pull on that cord sometimes and cause it to disconnect the mic. For this price it should have been USB-C.

Great for beginner voice acting and streaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a bad mic for streaming or casual recordings. If you’re looking to do voice acting, this mic could be passable with a lot of sound treatment in your room, but you’ll probably want to go for an XLR mic instead.

Great mic with nice built in features
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great mic for podcasts and live streaming with needing to run an audio interface. It has built in gain control and has lots of other features. The Logitech software it comes with it easy to figure out and customize the lights on the mic it’s self.
