The arm easily attached to a desk. READ the directions about how the arm is to connect and bend. There is also an app called Blue Sherpa https://www.bluemic.com/en-us/products/sherpa/ that works with the mic. You need to play around with the mic settings to get the best sound. If you have a newer mac with a usb-c connection, you will need a dongle to connect the included USB cable to your computer.
