I started to have some compression issues as well so i decided to go another way. Good choice for new streamers.

May not work with all desks, so check to ensure you have enough room to clamp it onto the back side somewhere.

A bummer the kit didn’t come with a mic stand in case you don’t want to use the arm all the time.

Highly recommend

When plugged in the microphone defaults to muted. This would be of no concern despite the fact that depressing the mute button will not unmute the microphone. upon further investigation was able to find that this is a common issue and some would argue that the microphones shipped in these kits are known defective/failed QC, however I think that's a bit of a stretch. The boom does not hold any position even when fully tightened at each joint. Upon contacting Blue for support I was informed that I needed to pay shipping in order to send the device out for inspection. Yeah right. Would not recommend, and would encourage prospective buyers to do homework beforehand regarding the quality of this product while being mindful of sponsored content bias (Those who are financially incentivized to say good things about a product can be expected to say good things about that product regardless of the legitimacy of those claims. Do not be deceived.)
