    After sbout 1 year of use the microphone connection is flaky at best. If i move the microphone at all it loses usb connection and has to be moved around until it connects again. I tried new cables with no help.

    this microphone was hard to install I never figured it out had to return it hate this product!

    I have loosened up the screw in the bottom as far as it can go and tightened up the arms as tight as I can get and this thing still straightens out overtime it’s a real pain and frustrating that it won’t just stay where I want it.

      Hi shurlacker,

      The Yeti is a Condenser mic. Condenser mics are very hot mics. If you're room isn't treated for sound, you're going to hear every single ambient noise that is in the room (fans, hard drives, mouse clicks, swallowing a drink of water, etc) and any noise that occurs within proximity of the room (dog walks by in the hallway, flushing the toilet, or brewing some coffee, etc). What I can suggest is turning your gain down, and ensuring you have the proper pattern mode selected for the appropriate recording situation.     Do USB is horrible European if you move it around it, disconnects your microph

    Lasted 4 months before the USB port stopped working. Blue microphones customer service just gave us the runaround.

    Was great until it deafened my viewers

    Was streaming with this mic today, and it suddenly started buzzing/screeching and I had to scramble to find another solution and lost nearly an hour and many viewers as a result. Oh and the stand it came with is absolute garbage.

    Garbage Microphone

    ***DO NOT BUY*** I have never had more issues with a mic than I do with this one, which is upsetting as this mic costs $200. I bought this mic about 5 months ago to record voice audio for videos. It condenses the recording, so the audio file plays faster than the video recording, rendering the file completely useless. I've uninstalled/updated drivers, switched recording programs several times, tried to a different usb port/cable, and everything that I can dig up online. The only common denominator is this mic. It is trash. Do not buy. I had read several bad reviews on the mic before purchasing, and am now wishing I had listened to them.

      Hello, I am sorry to hear you are still picking up background nose. Please make sure the mic is straight up and down when recording. Also, please set the recording pattern to cardioid, this will be the best mode for picking up just you in the recording. I hope this helps!
