The sq. ft. rating is accurate, I really should have bought 2-3 of them. Still it noticeably helped filter out the smoke.

Does what I needed. I do wish it came with more filters. I’m going to need another one soon!

i’ve had this purifier about a month now and have run it nonstop since it arrived. when i first started running it, it *did* seem to make a difference in the air quality, but it’s hard to know for sure. i have an open layout space and, while i’m pretty sure it’s ~500 sq ft, i do wonder if the performance would be more noticeable in a room with a door (ie a bedroom) or something more contained (eg a basement or garage). i’ve tried placing it in different parts of the room to see if it makes a difference but, again, can’t really tell. the low and medium settings are fairly quiet but — as others note — it’s quite loud on high. it does take up some space but it blends well with my decor so i don’t mind :)

Cleans the air very good, is very quiet on the low setting for bedtime use. Keeping it clean is really easy.

Quiet and powerful, it relieved my allergy symptoms in less than an hour. The house smells much better.

I was really surprised how well this unit works. I have a dog plus a smoker along with a dust problem due to a non paved driveway. The unit is pretty lightweight and easy to run. But it has made a difference in the quality of air. I noticed I have a lot less dust on my furniture also. However you need to clean or vacuum the cloth that goes around unit especially if you have animals as the hair and dust will attach to the cloth.

The air filter is excellent. I have a small villa, and it can handle the whole thing. My allergies have had a noticeable improvement. Make sure you use the external pre-filters, as they can preserve the life of the regular filters. The regular filters cost almost as much as the unit itself does, which prompted me to simply buy one from another store instead of buying a new filter for this unit. However, for as long as the filters it comes with lasts, it's a great deal.

I bought 2 of these based on reviews I read on consumer reports and am very satisfied. I returned my dyson purifier that this thing runs circles around and costs half as much.

This was the highest-rated small air purifier in Consumer Reports' testing, and so it was the one we picked. My bedroom, even with the windows shut, lets dust infiltrate and accumulate. After a few months of whispering away in a corner, my dust problem has diminished and my allergies are much less troublesome. It is proving to be an excellent investment at a very reasonable price.

This purifier does a great job for cleaning the air in your house with very minimal setup and low noise level. The only time it is really noticeable is when it is on high.

Noticed quickly how air quality improved. Allergy’s improved. Reduced dust. Easy set up and runs quiet.

Solid purifier, cool design & works well! Using in a 500 sq foot office & can tell the unit is working well. Quiet unit as well.

This cleans well. It’s quiet unless on high but still does the job. Use it in a landing for the whole house.

It was ready to go out of the box. Just slipped one of the pre-filters on, and plugged it in. Decent size, easy on/off and adjusting settings.
