We keep it on high and it’s a little loud but you forget it’s in the room. There is a replaceable cover over the unit and it seems to capture a lot of the dust. It’s a little hard to clean so I stuck it in the washing machine and it came clean but there were some dust stuck to it. Overall I still like the unit because it works.

I first placed it in the living room and was surprised how well it worked. Then I moved it to the dining room (larger and more open) and it did a nice job there as well. It comes with 2 "socks" to put on the bottom half and has variable speeds. We're happy with it.
