Very happy with my purchase. I use it in the bedroom. It's completely silent and keeps the air cool and clean. The clean air indicator is always on blue which means it's doing a good job! Haven't had to dust in the bedroom since I got it. I still do of course, but it's nice to know that I'm not breathing in dust any longer. It's well-made and has a large filter. Easy to move, easy to use, nice appearance.

I am extremely happy with this air purifier. I subscribe to Consumer Reports (highly recommend! They're a nonprofit testing company) and they rate BlueAir very high. I picked it up on Black Friday for $118.99. It is super quiet on Auto and Fan level 1. I use the app to turn up the fan to 2.5 for when I'm sleeping to get a nice white noise. The first morning I i woke up with it running I could tell something was different. It's tough to explain how the air can feel so clean. Another bonus is the name brand filters are $30, which Best Buy sells or you can get a small discount by ordering directly through BlueAir. Definitely a 5 star product.

Can barely hear it, unless you’re sitting next to it with the Penjamin Franklin. Then it kicks into hyper speed and keeps the wife from complaining about the skunk living under the house.

Made a noticeable impact to the air quality in my bedroom within the first hour after I plugged it in and set it up. Aside from doing exactly what it’s supposed to, it’s tech features are my favorite including it’s app with my home air quality dashboard and especially the ease of using my Alexa to turn it on and off and change the fan settings.

Bought this Blue Air during the summer of smoke from Canadian wild fires..Love this filter!
Helped immensely and lets you know if it detects particulates by the red light indicator...once the room or rooms are clear it goes back to green. Nice feature.
We are using now since we have contractors installing a new A/C unit in our home...I feel COVID-safer knowing it's on while these guys are in my hallway working.

So far working great. We had this 1 day and the air felt cleaner and smelt fresh. The fan pushes out the fresh air and keeps fresh air circulating. The next day we went back during the sale and purchased a smaller for our bedroom

The Blueair 411i Max Air Purifier is made for small rooms up to 219 square feet. According to the company, on maximum setting, it can clean the air in a 219 square foot room in about 12.5 minutes. Blueair also claims that it is one of the quietest air purifiers on the market and it filters out 99.97% of airborne pollutants, including pollen, dust, pet dander, and smoke. I learned that for smoke filtering, a specific kind of filter is needed.
I placed the air purifier in my bedroom which is close to 219 square feet. It has a simple, unobtrusive and modern design that makes it easy to place anywhere in a room, and it is light and can be moved easily and it is also not difficult to use. The washable gray cloth covering my purifier can be replaced with other colors making it great to suit your environment. The control panel on the top has the basic options such as the power button, fan speed, mode buttons, filter and wifi indicators. It is easier to use with the Blueair app though. Setting up the app is not complicated but I wish the user interface was a bit more intuitive; a bit clunky at times. All the controls are available in the app and the basic ones are easy to use. In addition, you can set schedules which is very convenient. Another advantage of the app is to set your location and from there, you can see the local outside air quality and how it varies over time. And, speaking of air quality, the 411i Max has a built-in air quality sensor that will automatically adjust the fan speed based on the level of pollutants in the air. The sensor has an LED indicator that changes color from a variety of hues between blue and red depending on the quality of the interior air. This purifier is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. I primarily use Google Assistant and adding it to my devices in the Google Home app was a breeze. The commands are limited to on or off but they come in handy sometimes.
My favorite setting is auto and it adjusts automatically throughout the day. I noticed that it stays on at low speed most of the day and it is very quiet. The noise is more noticeable on high speed but still quiet in my opinion. The app indicates the life of the filter and it seems that it will be long lasting. As for its effectiveness, I can say that there was an apparent improvement in my wife’s allergies since I’ve been using the purifier. She feels that the allergens have gone down since using it.
If you’re looking for a quiet, easy to use air purifier that’s effective at removing pollutants, the Blueair 411i Max is a great choice plus it looks great and easily blends in most environments.

Obviously doesn't take the place of physically cleaning your room but I have seen less dust accumulate on my bedroom furniture. The ceiling fan blades are also less dusty. I actually prefer keeping my purifier on our dresser. Looking to buy an additional one for another bedroom. Pleased with this air purifier

The Blueair 411i Max is one of the latest air filtration devices on the market. With allergies and other air pollution being an issue in regions across the country, this device should make the air you breathe much more safe and clean. This device will work best for rooms up to 526 sq. ft. but room smaller it will work more quickly and efficiently.
Setup:
Immediately after taking the unit out of the box you notice the design is very minimalist which should work well for a variety of environments. The unit comes fully assembled with all filters in place, ready to go. I would highly recommend setting this device up with the Blueair app for full functionality. One thing that really stood out to me was the ease of setting it up via the app. Typically I find myself fumbling with errors or problems with apps but the Blueair app and the 411i paired effortlessly with my Pixel 7 Pro and Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6 mesh system. Once setup, I placed the air cleaner on an end table for testing.
Usage:
I let the unit run on auto for several days, moving it around occasionally to different rooms to see if I could get different readings. The filter never picked up on any PM 2.5’s in any of the rooms which I believe is due to the fact our HVAC system has a very good whole house filter and the ambient air isn’t overly dirty to begin with. We also have another air quality monitoring device and it shows very low PM 2.5 in our air so the two aren’t far off. It was a little disappointing that I was not able to see any blips in the graph to show it actually working but clean air is always better.
Turning the fan speed up manually really allowed me to feel the power being the system. On the lowest fan speeds, it is extremely quiet. Very acceptable for bedrooms in which you like a quiet environment while sleeping. On medium/high, it was louder but nothing unbearable. Similar to running a regular fan on the same speeds.
The app allows you to track many aspects of the filter such as life left, set schedules, order new filters, change the LED brightness on the unit, and change other settings. The app seems fairly robust and never once did I encounter any bugs or glitches with controlling the 411i. You can also use it with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Overall:
I would recommend checking out the Blueair 411i if you have issues with less than idea air quality or have seasonal issues with allergens and other pollutants in the air. With an aesthetically pleasing design for many environments and quiet operation, it seems like a functional device for those in need.

The Blueair Blue Pure 411i Max is designed in Sweden, and if you haven't heard of Blueair, they are under the Unilever umbrella of brands. The 411i Max is a smart version of their previous generation of air purifiers, adding more functionality, more detail and more information to your air purification experience.
I really loved the simplicity of our Blue Pure 311 Auto, and this new upgrade doesn't disappoint, adding features to unit itself, by the addition of a second dedicated button on top, so that you have power it on and off easily, and also set the fan speed, high, medium, low, auto and night mode.
Additionally on the 411i, you have the added Smart App that allows you to go in and check details of the environment that the filter is in. With the ability to purify a 219sqft room quickly (219sqft in 12.5 minutes, or up to 525sqft in 30 mins) and efficiently, this unit is ideal for a small bedroom or office. Once you have downloaded the Blueair app and paired it to your filter, you have the convenience of being able to set schedules for your filter, so that it doesn't need to run all the time, increasing the longevity of your filters.
You can change the speed of the fan from the app, turn it on and off, and monitor the activity in the room. It provides you with a visible graph of air quality from Excellent, Good, Moderate, Polluted and Very Polluted. This helps you determine how bad the air quality is in that room.
The room we have the filter set in is above the kitchen, so when cooking, the food smells permeate upstairs into that bedroom, and this 411i Max takes care of this odors quickly and efficiently. The app also sends you notifications if the air quality deteriorates or gets better (if you set up notifications). It will also let you know if the filter is offline, or if it's time to change the filter. You can also connect your filter to your favorite voice assistant.
You can adjust the brightness of the LEDs on the unit with the app. Worked just fine when I tested it too. The HEPASilent filter system ensures that you get the maximum air quality in the shortest time, with minimum noise. I've noticed that the sensors are very sensitive and react to changes in air quality very quickly, which is very reassuring.
As with the other filters from Blueair, you can customize the look of it to your liking as well, by being able to purchase additional filter covers for it in a variety of shades to compliment your decor. For a reasonable cost, you can change the look of your filter and either make it blend in, or make it stand out. Totally up to you!
Overall, this is a nice, smart, full featured filter upgrade to previous models and finishes out an all round great product. It runs almost silently in low mode which is great if you are a light sleeper. My wife had to actually turn it up, as she enjoys the quiet hum of an air filter at night.
Really enjoy the Blueair filter products, and highly recommend them to anyone who is interested!

This is a Plug and Play device, installation is a breeze, and it has a manual control panel to set ALL feature to your desired levels. Not saying that the app makes remote use, monitoring and adjusting a breeze. It is in this arena where this unit shines.
When I plugged in the unit my air was excellent ALL the time, when other detection devices differed in results. So I was disappointed at first. But in fact found the product exceptional.
This unit is designed for the average bedroom sized room not an entire home. It comes with night modes for when asleep, day modes for activity time and automatic modes that adjust based on background air quality, once placed in a large bedroom (ex: 1 king-size bed, 2 desks and small walk in closet) it can be calibrated based on your needs.
In 2 days I mastered the use of this unit and adjustments to my bedroom to get optimum results. Reduced pollutants by as much as %90. Co2, VOC’s and Radon are my primary concern. The Co2 is breathing and combustion pollutants which in excess can be harmful and VOCs come from chemicals, dust and artificial pollutants. Look up radon for details I am fortunate not to have Radon issues.
You do need to adjust the fan speed and setting for exceptionally challenging events like a smoker in the room but with the scheduler system you can set a range of events. I set up a high speed fan at 5 – 7 am each day when co2 and voc’s rise for example.
The Noise level of this unit is also remarkable. At the highest speed it sounds like those handheld portable fans people use next to computers on a hot day, and at normal speeds it can hardly be noticed, a leap in fan technology seems to have happened while I was an asleep

Nice compact air filter for small to medium rooms

Got this to have a simple yet aestethically pleasing air filter in the house. With a cat I was looking for it to filter out the air where the cat normally spends most of its time without anyone in the room even noticing it was there. Overall it is very quiet unless you change the settings to the max speed then you will notice it. As for its size it is not tiny but also not as large as other filters I have had in my house before.
Out of the box it was fully assembled which is nice and the cover comes off easily enough to allow for cleaning. You can manually change the speed settings on the top or if you are into the apps there is an app you can download for additional information from the filter. The best part of the app would be the filter status to let you know when your filter is approaching the time it should be replaced. If you have it in a room that it needs to be slient in at certain times like at night you can also set a schedule. There are a few different lights to give you indications if the filter needs to be cleaned as well as the current quality of the air although I never noticed it actually changing from blue that is supposed to signify good air quality.
Overall for a smaller room this is a nice air filter, simple design and it doesn't stand out in a room as any sort of applicance or air filter. It will blend into just about any rooms decor and has the ability to run more air through it on higher settings if the air quality is poor in the room to filter it out faster.

Out of the box, I noticed that the 411i Max is much bigger than my original 411. I am glad that the aesthetics have not changed all that much. Yes, it still looks a bit like a big can, but the white finish and cloth cover make it much more pleasing to the eye. While the physical design has not changed much, the features and options have.
This unit now has a control array for different settings, statuses, and options, which are easily accessible and responsive. There, you can control speeds, brightness (thank you!) and modes, of which there are several. For convenience, the purifier can be set to Auto. However, if you want a little more control, you can set it to the lowest setting in Night mode, or increase speed as needed. Some options are reached with a combination of presses, but nothing too complicated. Speaking of speeds, even at the highest setting the unit is not noisy at all with only a light humming which some may find pleasant (like a noise machine) at maximum speed.
There are also some lights that show Wi-Fi connection, filter status, and air quality. The most important thing for me is the air quality. I placed the purifier in several rooms and living room and to my surprise, the quality was always “Excellent”. I am hoping that the sensor is working correctly since I placed the unit where my puppy sleeps and still came up “excellent”. I had a satisfying experience so far with my original 411 so I am confident it will continue with the 411i.
Using the companion Blueair app, which I highly recommend downloading, things get a bit more interesting. After creating an account, connecting to the unit is easy enough via Bluetooth. In the app, you can control speeds, modes, brightness, set timers and schedules, see the filter’ current life status, and most importantly, the air quality in an easy-to-read graph. You can even do this while away -with voice assistant option!
Maintaining the unit is straightforward. A few steps to dismantle the unit, change the filter, put back together, and reset. The fabric cover is washable (and interchangeable with other colors too).
The 411i may seem somewhat pricey but having long-term experience with Blueair, and with the robust features and app support, it is totally a great value in my opinion.
