Attractive, quiet, and beneficial for breathing quality air when it is near me. While it always stays on blue (best quality) it still improves the immediate surroundings that still have dust and animal dander. I take it with me from room to room so I will be purchasing another to at least avoid taking it up and down the stairs. Very glad I purchased.

We purchased the Blue Pure 511i Max about 3 weeks ago and have it in our bedroom. We have the fan on automatic and you can not hear it. The only time it changes speed is after my wife uses her hair spray. It runs on high for about 10 minutes and then changes back to low speed. It is amazing how it detects the hair spray in the bedroom because she uses it in the bathroom. The unit is pleasant to look at and is not an eyesore in the room. Low speed is not audible, medium is barely noticeable and high is like white noise. I do not see any reason to change the speed we just leave it on automatic. The phone app works great and shows you the air quality. You can also change the intensity of the lights on the unit so that it does not disturb you while you are sleeping. The main light changes from blue being the best air quality to green, orange, light red and to dark red at the worst air quality. I do not have any thing bad to say about the product. It does what it is supposed to do.

Bought after we had a chemical smell in our house. Worked amazingly well. Continue to use every night in my bedroom. Works as a great white noise machine and keep dust under control. Also purchased for my sons in college dorms, where mold and shared germs are an issue. Neither of them have been sick the entire first semester, which has not been the case for many other students. Great product. Bought a small one to take when I travel.

This air purifier has made a noticeable difference in my home. The air feels cleaner, and it’s much easier to breathe, especially during allergy season. It’s quiet, efficient, and does exactly what it promises.

This is decent for a small room. Not much to it when you open the box. Just the air purifier wrapped in plastic. Cord comes already attached. Includes a small instruction manual but the basic step is, like everything else that is tech, is to download the app and go from there. You can use this without wifi, and the instruction manual tells you how to turn off the pairing light if you don’t want to use wifi, but there really is no reason not too. You get more alerts from the app. Can use it to change the speeds and functions, and also use it to alert you when the filter needs to be changed. This is my second blueair purifier, so I already had the app. It was super easy to just “add new device” in the app and pair the new purifier. Not much else to say with this. It works good for a small room. Has 3 regular speeds, an auto speed, and a night time “nightlight” speed to keep this quiet for sleeping. You can also read the manual to see how to turn off the display lights on the unit itself, so you aren’t distracted while sleeping if you use this in a bedroom. I definitely dimmed the lights a little, but kept them on to use kind of like a night light. Very useful. You can also use the app to dim and adjust the brightness. Only downside to this, is I don’t like the fact there is not actual “buttons” that click so you know when you actually pushed something. The buttons on the unit are just tap sensitive. And there is a delay when you first tap them. So you might tap it, not realizing it’s already booting up, tap it again and accidentally mess up the speed you wanted. Not a huge deal, but something I don’t find ideal. Actual buttons would be better

This purifier is small, quiet, and effective. I researched a lot of other purifiers, but was unhappy with the large sizes I found that do not work in my apt. I love this design and the fact that it does not take up much space.

Efficient, quiet, long-lasting, easy to find filter. There is a setting to dim ALL of the lights and quiet the motor that is reachable by hitting 1 button. I have two of these to conquer cat dander because of my asthma. They have been very helpful in conjunction with sweeping and vacuuming.

At first I was pretty skeptical of air purifiers but now we are FULL Blown believers in them. We mainly got it since our cats like to chew their arms, their vet suggested we get them an air purifier since they may be allergic to something in the environment. So we did, we had it in our bedroom, and it has for the most part helped with keeping them from eating their arm hair off. The app does let you know how polluted your air is, as well as there being a notification light on the device itself. I tested it on all levels of the home, and noticed that the room that only had a flow out vent, it kept the room cooler. But we still weren't completely sold on an air purifier, since the light near left the "great air" quality. So we decided to put it in the main room, which is the kitchen, dining, and living room. I decided to toast some bread in my convection oven, and for whatever reason, my convection oven malfunctioned and when the timer went off, the inside started to smoke. I hurried up and opened all the windows before the smoke alarms went off. This air purifier kicked on so fast, I would say it cleared out all the smoke, smell, and returned our air quality from heavily polluted to back to "great air" quality in about an hour. After that, we decided to keep it, and now are looking into another one for other parts of the house. Do I recommend this? Absolutely! Do you need the app portion? not really, but its cool to see where your air quality is, and see how much life you have on your filter.

So easy to use. Set up. Filter lasts so long! It is very quiet.

I moved in with my daughter and grandchildren and brought 2 cats with me. My granddaughter has allergies and is mildly allergic to cats. I bought 2 of these, one downstairs and one upstairs. They have been working great, my granddaughter hasn't had any issues with her allergies since we started using these. I highly recommend!

Efficient product for a dorm room! Quiet, effective, clean air.

[Employee of bestbuy] I recently adopted two kittens and because of that I didn't want to be prone to being nose blind and having my apartment smell like cats when I have people over. So I bought this to help remedy that especially since I have to keep their litter box in our living room. I'd like to say it's doing its job because it makes the entire living room really smell like nothing which is a good thing. I've even had people come over and they say it smells just normal in there. I guess the only tiny drawback is that one of my cats likes to scratch on it due to the fabric material on the outside but that really has nothing to do with the actual product and I've gotten him to stop. The app for it is really insightful and you're able to set schedules and control the fan speeds and even see an air quality indicator if you like tracking that sort of stuff. Even though it's on the smaller side, it definitely purifies the air in the entire living room plus a little bit into the kitchen. Another big plus is it's really quiet, especially on the auto mode. Overall, I recommend this for anyone with pets or even if you just want to breathe in better air, whether that be in small to medium living room or a bedroom.

I bought this for my husband and my son. My son suffers from allergies and my husband’s knows dries up with fan. The first day in use was a game changer. Both slept through the night and woke up charged and not sluggish. It is quiet, effective and has different options for smaller and larger Tommy. Will be purchasing for my daughters, my mother and our living room. You won’t regret this purchase

I have a toddler at home and i appreciate that it doesnt make much noise. i dislike the app, but only bc i do t think everything needs one. Preice is great and it was a lil larger than i thought it would be.

Small foot print but packs a punch. Quiet too! Will be again as a gift.
