Water resistant? I'm not so sure.

I used these headphones exclusively while working out (cardio and strength training). These headphones worked great for the first few weeks, but then I noticed static in the headphones, even after they powered off. Then audio was sporadic and intermittent while I was active or in motion. To top it off, now the headphone's battery life is only 30 minutes. I'm not sure if these headphones are as water/sweat resistant as they proclaim. I'm disappointed in their performance, especially given the price point for this product.
