I've found that this works as advertised. The mics seem to minimize or eliminate most ambient background noise while giving me clear reception of the voice on the other end. It looks bulkier than other brands I've used before, but doesnt 'feel' that way to me. It also stays in place.

My friends says the sound is horrible. Hard to hear me. The ear piece is extremely painful. It is thicker than other brands. Does not cancel noise. Doesn't always pickup call. Doesn't announce who or number that is calling. I have used quite a few different bluetooths in 14 years. This is the worse. The Plantronics 5220 wasn't available, so I bought this. It is money down the drain. I have now ordered and recieved the Plantronics. My friends are so relieved.

audio is fine. However, it does not stay on my ear very securely.

After using the Blueparrot M300-XT Bluetooth headset for a few days, I have mixed feelings. The design overall is pretty nice. The headset can be worn on either the left or right ear. It doesn't really go into the ear canal, but just rests inside your ear. It comes with 3 sizes of gels to better fit your ear. It's very comfortable and after a few minutes wearing it, you will forget you even have it on. It works best when paired with a smartphone running the blueparrot app. The app gives you simple setup instructions along with the ability to customize the use of the parrot button. The microphone is a good selling feature as it does a good job of noise cancelling. The people listening to you won't hear any of the noises going on around you, making it easy for them to hear you. Hearing them on the other hand is an issue. Since the ear piece does not fit into the ear canal, it is difficult to hear in a noisy environment. All of the external sounds go right around the gel and you still hear everything. Also, because it just rests in your ear, it isn’t very loud. That is a major drawback. While the headset is well built, without a better fit and more volume, I can’t recommend it.

The product doesn't canceling noise in truck cabinet!

The headset has a rather large piece that fits behind the ear. I wear glasses. It was difficult putting it on securely while wearing them. I would not recommend to anyone that wears glasses often.

This device did not have an ear bud cover that would fit my ear it was constantly sliding down. Within two weeks use it already won't hold a charge, I was not using it daily either.

This is the most uncomfortable headset ive ever worn. I bought it about a day ago and i just returned it. Even in a quiet environment the person on the other line couldn't hear me unless i talked loudly. I walked not even 30ft from my phone and it disconnected. I bought one for my husband as well and I'll br returning that one too. Doesn't fit in comfortably i have tiny ears. Fyi we both have another model of a blue parrot headset, but this one is complete trash.

It’s either too loud or not loud enough. The person on the other end says I sound like I’m muffled.

Researched on-line before I purchased product. The talk time won me over as compared to higher price with less talk time. I recommend product to a couple of friends.

This is my review of the BlueParrott M300-XT Ultra-Light Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headset at $99.99 of which I give it a 5 out of 5 star rating. Overall, I use Bluetooth headsets about 80% for work so it was great to have a device solely made for this purpose. It has amazing battery life which is very important for work as I'm on day three and still don't need to charge. It is very comfortable to wear. Very important, if you are a glass wearer like myself it works best with thin framed glassed to allow the device to wrap around your ear without discomfort. The device does have the ability to be worn on either ear, just follow the instructions included in the box to twist the boom mic and battery compartment in the proper directions to avoid damage. The device is also paired with a BlueParrot app that allows for Firmware updates--please perform the update prior to initial use to ensure you have the latest features. Having the Firmware updated allows for complete customization of the BlueParrott button on the side of the device sort of like a short-cut. The options for this button include paring with 3rd Party Apps, Walkie Talkie/Voice Memo, Speed Dial, Pairing of Second Device, etc. To answer and reject calls is made with the button on the top of the battery compartment and NOT on the BlueParrott button as there is no option to add this as a short-cut feature. The device claims to block out 80% of background noise, which it did fairly well. I tested it with a friend as I both turned on bathroom faucets and exhaust fans. The device takes about 2 seconds to determine the algorithm need to cancel the noise. All but the inevitable toilet flush still gets through to your caller as this sound pattern is not symmetrical and fails to be eliminated by the algorithm! The overall sound from the speaker and the mic delivering my voice to the listener is very clear and crisp. I also find the device very comfortable to wear in my normal 10+ hour work day. The ear-bud does not fit into the ear canal but rests just outside. It's important to try all three ear buds to find the proper fit for you. In summary, this is a great Bluetooth Headset for work with long battery life, great sound, and very comfortable to wear. I use this headset on a daily. It tells you who's calling. Its better than the plantronics and you can get the warrant with this one. Try it.
