Sound quality is awful. The microphone does not pick up what I am saying and the caller cannot hear me at all. My ability to hear the caller is only marginally better.

Wish it was better quality. Husband bought this trying to find something that wasn't a bud. Quality was very poor for what it costed you can get better

I tested it making calls while walking next to a busy highway with lots of background noise from the cars. I also tested it while walking on a windy beach, with the roar of the waves producing additional background noise. In all the test calls I did in noisy environments, the person on the other end said I sounded fine, and so did they. Those are some of the same places where I previously had heard complaints about the background noise, so the noise cancelation feature works as advertised and it's certainly a welcome feature. I also played music using the device while doing my beach walks. While the sound is not concert hall quality, nonetheless the sound quality is acceptable and certainly helps to make my walk time much more enjoyable. In addition to the obvious phone connection use, there’s another important use for this device that shouldn’t be overlooked. The Covid lockdown has resulted in virtual meetings becoming a regular event for so many of us, so this headset is a perfect tool for that purpose, too. It can replace the less-than-ideal speaker systems that are in so many devices still in use today. Bottom Line: This BlueParrott M300-XT is a solid, easy-to-use lightweight headset that’s a great tool for multiple uses at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Very poor quality Not a noise canceling Bluetooth

The BlueParrott M300-XT ULTRA-LIGHT NOISE CANCELLING BLUETOOTH HEADSET is the lightest and most comfortable headset that I have ever owned. I've had a bunch of headsets and, sooner or later, they begin to bother me. The M300-XT is so light that you dont even realize that you are wearing it. The M300-XT also paired easily with my phone, provided 12-14 hours of battery use, and seemed to provide excellent noise cancelling in a relatively noisy environment. Overall, I recommend the M300-XT as a light weight, no fuss headset that can be used at great distances from the paired device.

Very light and comfortable. The mic does cancel background noise very effectively, I pickup a call when vacuuming and the caller did not hear the vacuum even when the vacuum is very close to me. The battery life is very good, after 5 days, it still say it has 90% battery. The earbud called EarGel is designed to sit within the outer ear, not in the ear canal so it takes a while to get used to. This makes it comfortable to wear it all day long but does sacrifice sound volume, I had to turn the volume up more. With the app, you can enable SMS reader to read text you receive.

I had high hopes for the BlueParrott M300-XT headset, but unfortunately my expectations fell short. Overall, the build quality and ease of use are definitely there, so this isn't a form-factor gripe, this is a practical use issue. In testing the headset, I happened to be able to use it with latest-model MacBook Pro as well as iPhone. Pairing was never an issue and, as promised, I could get the BlueParrott paired with both devices at the same time. The real issues? Specifically, there were two for me: 1. When I was having a one-on-one meeting with a colleague, the sound quality of my voice coming across to them was sub-par in comparison to another set of in-ear earphones I've typically used (besides the fact that turning the volume all the way up still was very low in comparison to the competition); 2. I would almost constantly get a "connecting," "disconnected," "connecting" message in my ear while speaking, even though the line wasn't getting dropped in any way, it was incredibly irritating to be hearing this when attempting to talk (this occurred with both devices being connected to the earpiece) If there were a third issue, a close third would be that the iOS app that's responsible for keeping the firmware updated, didn't. That is, after it would seemingly successfully download a minor firmware update, each time I would attempt to sync my phone with the headset, the update process in the app would stall and I'd get a blank overlay screen where there likely should have been real-time updates as to progress. Bottom line: while the earpiece hardware appears to be solid, I don't think the app nor the audio is quite up to speed with what most would expect. Maybe wait for either the second generation or for there to be a major software update!

Mic quit working after 2 month of use other than that it works fine
