Not only is this a fantastic Bluetooth headset I’ll be at a mono one ear headphone, It is really good to use with your Bluetooth enabled CB radio. I’ve used a lot of Parrot products in the past for my job and this one may be the best so far. The sound quality is very clear. The range is impressive. I can get out of my Jeep and go into the convenience store with it on my head for testing purposes of course and the range doesn’t fail - it stays connected. The range is rated at 300 feet and I’d say that’s accurate. The battery life is really impressive as well. It can last for about 45 hours. It does have a little built-in assistant that you can use your voice to control and ANC does a good job, but without another earbud on the side, it’s not really for you it’s for the party you’re talking to. It uses dual advanced microphones to block out 90% of background noises and in my testing I found that to be spot on. My callers could hear me extremely well. So you have a use case for this like a CB radio this headset does an excellent job!

BlueParrott Pro B450, I was skeptical at first about having a single ear piece only cause I’m using it for work as a call center agent, I always found the single ear piece headsets uncomfortable & not being able to hear well & clearly, I am very impressed with BlueParrott B450 Pro it is very comfortable, cushioned ear piece,lightweight & sound quality with background noise cancellation works great! Wireless Bluetooth connectivity helps with the anxiety of being tied to my desk and computer and of course one less wire to deal with, you can connect up to eight devices and two at the same time, I had a little bit of an issue getting it to connect to both my desk top and my laptop but once I got it set up it’s been great. It has button answer, reject and end calls, also mute/push to talk programable button option, battery life indicator. Battery life is up to 45 hours with 500 stand by, I didn’t test the battery life I just have a habit of plugging it in for charging nightly. Talk range I’ve been able to walk outside and it still be very clear on both ends no complaints of cutting out while talking. Make sure to download the BlueParrot App to keep your headset updated.

I was initially sceptical of these truck headsets. I have found them to typically be lacking on the features and call clarity. I was very surprised at the quality on this BlueParrott - Pro B450 Wireless Bluetooth Mono Headset. The headset fit very comfortablly on my head and the call quality was superb. The setup was a breeze to complete with the companion Blue Parrott application. It was easily found on the Play Store and walked me through step by step. I appreciate the ability to check the battery status, update firmware and change the function of the hot button on the side of the headset to meet my needs. After using the headset on phone calls, I am happy to report that I hear people very clearly and they hear me as well, without excess background noise from other vehicles, people talking around me (as in same room, not sitting next to me in the car) or other general noise. The headset is comfortable and the battery life is lasting for a few days with occasional phone calls. Of course, the more you chat, the faster it will run down. All-in-all, I am pleased with this option from BlueParrott.

BlueParrott has released a new bluetooth headset and mic. The Pro B450 is lightweight and comfortable to wear. It can be worn with the earpiece and mic on the left or the right. There is one earpiece so I’m able to hear everything around me while also being able to hear audio from the device I have it connected to. The audio quality from others people who were on the phone with me was very clear. It uses bluetooth 5.0, so my phone allows for a very clear call. People who were in calls with me said that the audio from my end was clear, but a little flat. Meaning there wasn’t much bass in the audio, but it was very clear. Overall, they said it was good and they weren’t having any problems hearing or understanding what I was saying. On long drives, I’ll be able to switch this from one side to the other if my ear gets gets a little sore from wearing it on one side. It’s light which helps a lot while wearing it for multi-hour drives. The battery is good and it is simple to charge using the USB-C to USB-A charge cable that was included. If you are looking for a bluetooth headset to use while driving that has noise canceling, is light, and supports bluetooth 5.0, then consider BlueParrott’s Pro B450. It works well and the battery lasts a long time.

This headset is an absolute necessity if you are in a noisy environment. As a small landscaper, the most important tool I have is this headset. I can’t afford to miss any calls, and sound quality is crucial. My cousin, an over the road driver recommended this knowing how well it manages noise. He was right! Using it in the truck, the noise cancellation is amazing. With the windows open, and the stereo cranking, the person on the line only hears me. It’s easy to control with voice commands, and the simplicity of muting my calls by raising the boom is great. No fumbling trying to find a button. Outdoors with equipment running they are just as impressive. I can enjoy streaming while working. They easily manage everyday usage. The charge lasts almost a full week. The dust and moisture protection ensures they keep on working. When using them outdoors in the sun, the dust really flies, and that’s no problem here. As I’m taking them on/off, and tossing them into the truck, they can clearly survive most anything. When looking for quality, built to last, and all-day comfort, I found this headset to be the perfect tool for my business. I’m glad I stepped up to a professional level.

I work from home every day and so I am on virtual meetings at least once or twice per day. Usually, I don’t use a headset because I don’t need to, but whenever I have to wear one because of people in the home, I use my music headphones, but I have sometimes run into problems with my mic or connectivity and all of the above. This is why I decided to give this Blue Parrot headset a chance, and so far it’s meeting my needs. Quality Built 4/5 – it feels like it’s built solid and no complaints for the most part. My only complaint is the during the design process there was no consideration for connecting these via USB dongle. If it had a USB dongle connection it would make working with these super easy. Sound Quality 5/5 – from the microphone to the one-side speaker, I am surprised at how good it sounds. I am new to this brand but they seem to be good at making headsets for an office setting. I wasn’t sure how I would do with a headset with just one speaker, but I actually like it. It allows me to be present in the virtual meeting but also in my room which I was unable to do this with my other over-the-ear headphones. The ANC is also good, no complaints from my co-workers. Comfort Level 5/5 – the cushion and the padding feel good. I don’t wear these all day so for me it’s usually a 1 hour meeting and then put them away until the next day or the next meeting, but in this level of use, they feel perfect and comfortable. No complaints. Bluetooth Connection 4/5 – quick and easy to set up, but again I would prefer to have a USB dongle connection. Overall, I think it’s a great headset for someone who works from home that needs to take calls and still wants to be able to hear around them.

Conducting business meetings from home is always a bit of a hassle to find a quiet place. You can always blur or superimpose a background on a video conference call, but background noise always comes through. I have the BlueParrott B250 and enjoy the ability to have private conversations in a handsfree format, but it doesn't have active noise cancellation. The B450 does and makes it easy for me to upgrade with a brand I know. The B450 is more comfortable to wear due to its larger cushion for better on-ear placement. The head support and band are more comfortable to wear for my hour plus meetings with clients in different time zones. I'm happy that the noise cancelling feature blocks out almost all activity from kids playing video games just 20ft away. At first, I couldn't tell if it was working because it's only on my right ear, so I was a little worried. I then tested with my wife calling me and was relieved that she could only hear my voice and none of the background noise. The only flaw I found is in its placement of the boom mic; it's connected in between the cushion and the band. This layout makes it awkward to lift as it presses against my head, and then tedious to pull down since I have to reach in with a finger in between to bring it back down again. That said, it's a much-improved headset in the areas that matter most and would suggest others consider it.

There are several definitive differences between this model and my previous BlueParrot headsets. Most of the upgrades are welcome, and better, a few I’m not quite sure of. While this BlueParrot Pro B450 headset is built well, of quality materials, it just doesn’t seem to be on par with the headset this one is replacing. My husband is a trucker and has used BlueParrot headsets for YEARS. We’ve never had any issues hearing each other on calls. Sound quality has always been good, for both talking and for when he listens to music, podcasts or audiobooks. His BlueParrot headset is an invaluable device he uses for his job throughout his long-haul workdays. Notable features of this Pro B450: - Easy-to-reach button placement on earcup - Leatherette cushioned earcup, with foam mic windscreen - Close to promised 300ft wireless range - Up to 45 hours of talk time, though your results may vary - Hands-free voice control - ANC works great, especially in noisy environments (such as my husbands truck) - Pass Through is now called Hear Through, and appears to perform adequately - Putting the microphone up not only activates mute during calls, but also pauses the audio; put the mic back down, and audio resumes You’ll want to install the BlueParrot app on your mobile device for useful settings. One thing regarding the customizable BlueParrot button - my husband had dedicated this button on his previous headset to directly call my mobile number. He’s unable to do that in the same way with this headset, except through a “work-around” via voice control. If anything, the button control options for this particular feature are somewhat disappointing, in comparison to his previous model BlueParrot headset. This headset is not lightweight, yet it’s not heavy either. So far, my husband has been able to wear it for many continuous hours during his workday, and it’s proven relatively comfortable. Sometimes more cushioned padding around a headband can be too much, or too thick. However, the padding on this BlueParrot headset’s adjustable headband seems to be just about right. It certainly feels more comfortable than the basic flexible metal headband of other models. Overall, while I can recommend this BlueParrot Pro B450 headset, it’s not as all-around great as I’d have liked. This single earcup headset would be a good for delivery drivers, professional truckers, people who spend a great deal of time traveling in their car, and for business calls, etc.

The BlueParrott Pro B450 is absolutely stunning! The BlueParrott Pro B450 comes in a great small package that is well protected. You download the Blueparrott app in either google store or apple store. You pair the headphones by Bluetooth to your phone or device. Put the headset on your head, press the power button and pair the headset to your device. Buttons on the headset you have a - Blueparrott button that when pressed you get voice commands or mute when on a call. - power button - press once for power on, hold for 6 seconds to power off, or double press to put the headset in pairing mode with your device. - volume up and volume down buttons to control volume levels - a button to switch between - - ANC (automatic Noise Canceling) - - Hear Through to hear also what's going on around you. - - off mode to not use ANC or Hear Through You can also use the boom mic to mute yourself or un-mute. By raising it or lowering the headset. It has a battery that lasts for 45 hours! And a distance up to 300ft. Now the noise canceling on the BlueParrott Pro B450 is just outstanding for you and the other party you are talking to. I tested the BlueParrott Pro B450 while driving with the windows down at highway speeds, driving by extremely noisy trucks, and the other party heard me with absolutely no problems!! This is something I have never experienced! What is headset! What an awesome company to produce such a great product! The BlueParrott Pro B450 is extremely comfortable to keep on your head all day with audio that is crystal clear. Battery is just outstanding, lasted me all day for multiple days with no problems. On the app you can control the heaset like you do on the headset and upgread its firmware and read the manual. The use with noise canceling is wow and you can tap the button on the headset to switch modes. What an awesome headset! Long batery life, outstanding noise canceling, and comfortable fit. Highly recommend!

I have used the BlueParrott Pro B450 for about a week, and it is outstanding. The setup was very easy, and I like the fact that it also has an app to enhance the overall experience. The voice calls are clear and crisp, which makes this headset very dependable for communication throughout the day. One of the best features is the AI-powered voice isolation and Active Noise Cancellation, which blocks most of the noise in the area of use. I used this as someone was outside mowing the lawn, and the person at the other end could hardly hear the lawnmower. This makes a big difference when making calls in noisy environments because the person on the other end can hear my voice clearly without distractions. I also like the three listening modes: Active Noise Cancellation On, HearThrough, and Active Noise Cancellation Off. Being able to switch between them with one button gives me more control, depending on where I am and what I need to hear. The battery life is also excellent. I have used this for more than 3 days without needing to recharge it. The BlueParrott Pro B450 lasts a very long time, and the fast charging is very convenient. It is built for long-term use, and the pressure-reducing cushioning and secure fit make it comfortable to wear for extended periods. Overall, the BlueParrott Pro B450 is a high-quality headset with great comfort, excellent call clarity, strong noise cancellation, and outstanding battery life. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable headset for clear communication, especially in busy or noisy environments.

I had an older model BlueParrot headset for years and it eventually wore out. I haven't found any other headset that is as good for taking cellphone/laptop calls. The sound quality on this headset is great for meetings or general phone calls. Earbuds and such work in a pinch, but these BlueParrot headsets have amazing sound quality, and noise cancelling mics for pristine audio quality. They are not really designed for listening to music or watching videos, but if you've been struggling to find a headset strictly for making calls or joining meetings, I highly recommend one of these. I have my earbuds I use for music while at work, or working around the house, but any time I have to sit down and call customer service, or catch up with a friend or family member, I always grab this BlueParrot headset. The noise cancelling on this newer model is strong and makes it easier to hear the person on the other line. I never have anyone telling me I am hard to hear on their end. I mostly use this headset for cell calls, but I have joined online meetings with it as well, and it works flawlessly.

Being a fan of the Blue Parrott products, this was a natural choice when I was in the market for a new Bluetooth headset This one is marketed for the truck driver industry, but the features matched my home needs I wanted something Bluetooth, lightweight, comfortable, great battery life, a clear microphone, but most of all being able to hear my surroundings. This headset checked all of those boxes I picked the headset up and headed home and unboxed immediately. All was simple, intuitive and protected Connecting it to my phone was very easy. If you ever connected a Bluetooth device, then you are already a pro I tested a call to a family member and I could hear perfectly and I came through at the other end clear. I went outside and tested the noise canceling and it works just as advertised Now for the fun stuff I tested the voice control and simple commands worked on the first try The control buttons seemed oversized (in a good way) and my fingers hit them easily I also tested the 24 hour battery claim and in a few hours the moved appropriately. I did not have the will or patience to test for a full 24 Lastly there is a customization button available where you can chose the function, but I did not need to mess with that Overall I am very pleased with the headset and would recommend to family and friend

I spend a lot of time in conference calls. I usually use whichever headphones are charged but it’s a pain connecting to my work laptop because all of my headphones pair to my phone/tablet first. It all became a headache so I decided to try a dedicated headset specifically for work and never have to fumble with Bluetooth again. As soon as you turn on and connect these via Bluetooth, you’re instructed to download the Blue Parrot app. The first thing that impressed me was that this headset has the pass through feature similar to transparency mode with AirPods. They call it HearThrough. Even though it’s only in one ear, it makes them feel “lighter” and is an appreciated feature. The noise canceling makes my one ear feel quite isolated, which is also a welcome feature when the speaker is talking softly. Swinging the boom arm up mutes the headset. There’s a customizable button above the power button that I have set as mute, but you can do voice commands, launch other apps, and do a few other things with it. My unit came with the latest firmware. It’s great.

Great headset to pickup if you're in the market for something not quite a full blown headset but something you still need to take calls with hands free. Usually I see truckers or heavy drivers wearing these types of headsets. If you need something hands free but not quite as dainty as a Bluetooth headset then something like this is right up your alley.  Firstly, the fit of this is quite nice. Sometimes, headsets can feel a bit restrictive depending on your headset, size of your head, etc. Something like this fits much better and is more comfortable longer term than a headset I feel.  Like with any other Bluetooth headset, this is pretty much a setup and forget it accessory. Once it's paired up with your phone and on, connectivity is pretty spot on and consistent. Sound quality, both audio and speech, is spot on as well. Crystal clear audio thanks to the noise cancellation on this headset and didn't receive any complaints about my voice crackling or coming in weak.  While this type of headset is geared more for distance drivers, if you work from home or just need a hands free option for calls, this headset also works great in that respect too. 

I work from home and I spend 4 or more hours a day on the phone and video conference calls. I have several sets of earbuds and even some noise-cancelling headphones, but they are more for listening, so microphone quality is barely adequate. I needed a headset with a good microphone so others can hear me clearly plus one that I could pair with both my phone and computer. I found this BlueParrott Pro B450 that seemed to meet my needs, so I ordered it. As with most modern electronic devices, this Pro B450 headset does not include an instruction manual. It does include a 65-page safety information booklet, but the user’s manual is embedded in the phone app. It can also be downloaded from the BlueParrott website under the support menu. That manual is adequate, but lacks information on some key features like how to pair with multiple devices. Again, like most modern devices, you pretty much have to use an app for best results. The app itself is easy to use and offers some decent tutorials in the “getting started” steps. It has a relatively small memory requirement and no advertising. Another plus with the app is that it does not require me to create an account to use it. It’s typical of headset apps with the ability to program options into a multi-function button. It also allows for a firmware update and reports the remaining battery capacity. One problem I had with the app is that once I had paired the headset to both my phone and my Windows PC, it would no longer find the headset. The only way I could restore the app’s functionality was to remove the headset Bluetooth pairing from my PC. While the app is not necessary to use the headset with my phone, it’s a feature I like, so this ends up being a bit of a deal-breaker with this Pro B450 headset. The headset is lightweight and fairly comfortable to wear, though the ear cushion could be slightly larger with better padding. It does feel well-made. The headset stays in place when adjusting the microphone boom, and I like that moving the boom up away from my face mutes the mic. The buttons are not bad, but they are all square, so touch recognition takes some practice. A round power button would have made them more easy to identify. Battery capacity is excellent. I’ve used the headset for around 20 hours with over 60% remaining, so I’d say it easily supports BlueParrott’s 45-hour claim. Charging is easy via the USB-C port on the headset. It’s even located so a cord can be connected while using the headset. A standard USB A-to-C cord is included, but no charger power block. Audio quality is a bit disappointing. The Pro B450’s Automatic Noise Canceling feature works fairly well, but sound quality is not up to the standards I’d expect at this price level. I’ve used $20 earbuds that sound better. The mic has a built-in noise-cancelling feature that works fairly well, but it doesn’t seem to have enough gain so I have to speak a bit more loudly than my normal voice to be heard clearly. Using the app’s audio test confirms this, too. Maybe it’s the mic itself or its noise-cancelling feature, but my voice sounds a bit robotic. It’s usable, but again, not commensurate with the price. Overall, this would be a good headset if it were in the sub-$100 price range, but with a premium price, it just isn’t very competitive given its mediocre performance. I am still looking for a good headset to use for work.
