The series has built quite a momentum but this last season somehow misses the mark. All the story threads are concluded with some character arcs better than others but the shows wraps up in a slightly disappointing fashion. For the completionist in you.

Graphic in the first episode but kept me watching.

The series has really slowed down in season 5. If you like the show it will be good to watch, but has a different look and feel.

If you're a fan of the series, you may be disappointed with the anticlimanic ending. Entertaining regardless of the ending.

Knd of getting tired of this show need something new

I was very disappointed in this last season of boardwalk empire. the mostly showed reruns of season 4 and I did not like the fact that nucky Thompson gets killed in the last scene of the show. I also did not like it when patricia arquette was killed in season 4.

The 5th Season & Series Wrap Up Was Ok, But Short.

Great series. Very talented actors that brought the ending to a satisfying conclusion.

Awesome ending to a great series, but its a shame HBO was so cheap as to leave the DVDs out of the combo sets like they had in the past.

Giving only 8 episodes for a final season parts of the show last season seem to be a little rush, but overall the show did end well.

Yet another good production by HBO. From a plot to a cast.

Characters were giving a good enough send off to a proper show from HBO.
