Great iPhone 13 max case. I love that its transparent and shows off my phone. The fit is perfect and it was easy to snap the case on the phone. I love the cutouts for the volume and sleep buttons, they feel great and the phone responds instantly when pressing on them. There is an open cutout for the silence rocker, lightning port, speakers at the bottom and the cameras. I love that the camera cutout has a raised lip, so it protects the cameras lenses when you lay the phone flat on a table, the same thing for the phone screen, the edges have a small raised lip so raises the screen when laying flat on a table. I have my phone with a tempered glass screen protector and the case fit with no issues (there are tons of brands of screen protectors out there, so YMMV). Gripping the case with my hands feels great and non slippy and the corners are sturdy, so I'm sure it would protect the phone from a reasonable fall (like from your hands or pocket). They also mention on the box it has an antimicrobial layer, but there is no way for me to test this, I disinfect my phone with alcohol from time to time anyways. I have been using the case for a couple of weeks and so far has retained its "transparency", and I hope it does for a long time (I've had experiences with other brands of transparent cases where after some months they turn yellowish), but I hope this one doesn't do that. Very happy with it and highly recommend it!

The case snaps around the iPhone 13 Pro Max with very little effort. Once on, it is very secure and will not easily come off. The case is surprisingly thin and does not add significantly to the bulk of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The actual dimensions of the iPhone are just 0.2 inches smaller than the case in length and width. The full front surface of the screen is still accessible after the case has been installed. The appearance is very clean and a small BodyGardz logo is very subtly etched at the bottom of the back of the case. The case is composed of 100% bioplastic. It is also UV-resistant to combat yellowing and should retain its clarity for many years. I had no issues with charging my phone wirelessly after installing the case. The BodyGuardz Carve phone case I’m reviewing is for an iPhone 13 Pro Max and according to the manufacturer’s web site, it is priced towards the bottom of their line of cases that fit this phone. However, that doesn’t mean you are getting a cheap, substandard product. My wife and I have had numerous iPhones over the years and a good number of cases have protected them during that time. The Carve is as stylish and well made as any of them. The long-term durability of the “bioplastic” it is made of and how it compares with good old petroleum-based plastics that we are all familiar with remains to be seen. This particular case is crystal clear plastic on the backside allowing the color of your iPhone to show through with great clarity. The edges are frosted and have a ridged pattern molded into them which aids in securing your grip on the phone. Even though at first glance the case seems to be a simple one-piece molded plastic unit, the buttons (three in this case) are made of a different, recycled-plastic material. There are no openings or slots by these buttons to allow dust to enter between the case and phone like some other cases have (specifically, another iPhone 13 case in our house from a major maker). The buttons on the case allow for easy actuation of the controls on the phone. There are raised bumpers that protect the camera array and the front screen, so you can lay the phone on a table frontside up or backside up and the case will offer protection in either orientation. Openings for the charging port, mute switch, and speakers are appropriately sized and shaped and the case shows no molding lines or excess flashing. There are no cosmetic imperfections in the plastic material and the case’s appearance is befitting of its price point. I could not test the compatibility of the case with the MagSafe wireless charging function as we don’t have that kind of charger for our phones, but I have no reason to not believe the company’s statement that it does work. Also hard for me to assess is the PureGuard coating on the case that is claimed too minimize bacterial growth on the case. I also wasn’t about to test the drop protection that is claimed to be “Military Grade”. The packaging that the case comes in is a recycled-paperboard, two-piece slip-case allowing you easy access to the phone case in the store to examine it closely without destroying a sealed package - a welcomed feature. BodyGuardz is a company I was completely unfamiliar with until receiving the Carve phone case, but looking at their web site, they appear as an organization with good intentions in the materials they use and their donation of a portion of each purchase to charity. I see no downsides to this particular product and I suspect it would be pleasing to most phone users.

This is a relatively lightweight, bendable phone case for iPhone 13 Pro Max and appears to be made well with thick, rubbery plastic that is not only easy to hold but looks like it will provide decent protection for my phone should it ever get dropped. I have had an iPhone since the very first model - and with each one - a new case. I tend to prefer function over looks when choosing a case for my iPhones because of the value of what the case is protecting. This case does not disappoint. The rubbery feel is leaps & bounds ahead of the slippery iPhone surfaces which I simply don’t trust myself not to damage without a case. This case provides protection without being overly “bulky” and includes a beveled edge all the way around so the screen is sunken in a little bit to provide protection. My previous cases have historically been leather but this case is definitely a good option if leather isn’t your preference. The case itself is basically translucent so you can still see the back of the phone along with the Apple symbol. The lightning cables I have (both Apple and other brands) fit nicely in the cutouts for charging and wireless charging also worked very well. My only slight issue - and this is VERY slight - is the case doesn’t slide as easily in to the wireless charger in one of my cars (one of my cars has a little slot you push the phone in to for charging; my other car isn’t an issue - the phone just rests on a pad). Overall, I’d give this a thumbs up for those looking for durable coverage without the cost of leather.

In a competitive market where both OEM, licensed products, and knockoffs coexist, the BodyGuardz - Carve Classic Case for Apple iPhone 13 Pro wouldn’t really stand out. That said this case has merits of its own in a crowded marketplace. The case itself is a form fitting case designed for the iPhone Pro Max but also has other models for the different models. It is made from a clear plastic material but said plastic has a bit of a haze on it. The edges have some form of ribbing to make your grip firmer and there are fitted slots for the volume and power buttons and open slots for the charging port and speakers. The back side has an opening for the iPhone Pro Max’s cameras and are also raised to give extra protection. This case is tested to withstand eight foot drops (though I haven’t tried it myself). The case is also touted as having antimicrobial properties but there is no way for me to verify this. All I can do is take their word for it. And lastly, the case is still too new for me to ascertain if this case will turn yellowish or not which is quite common for clear cases. All in all there is nothing new in this case save for the fact that it is a decent case for the iPhone. That said, I would still recommend this phone but unfortunately, I can only give it four stars since this is a fairly ordinary case. But one case that works.

Pretty easy item to review. I have an Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max in forest green. It’s such a beautiful phone, it’s a shame to cover it up with a bulky case. The majority of cases are insanely expensive at the same time. The BodyGuardz case is clear, flexible, and has significant padding at the corners to protect against drops. It is also slightly raised on the screen side of the case, protecting the screen of the phone (as long as it’s a smooth floor). It doesn’t come with a screen saver, but it really doesn’t need to at this cost. It’s the most inexpensive case out there that I’ve seen so far that isn’t so thin you don’t feel like it would protect much of anything. Installation was a breeze. The BodyGuardz is flexible enough that it slips right onto the phone. It also fits tightly to the phone, with little to no flexing of the sides or creaks that happen with some of the other cases that I’ve had. It does not have a MagSafe charging function on it, so if this is something you are looking for, it will not lock onto a MagSafe charger. The Apple MagSafe charger I have still works with it, you just don’t get that satisfying click and hold that you would get with a MagSafe case. But then again, you are spending a significant amount less, so as long as MagSafe charging isn’t a big deal this is a great case for you. My wife has a much more expensive clear case with MagSafe charging, but the way it is built, the sides flex and creak when the case is in use and the case looks beat up after only a few weeks use. The BodyGuardz case seems to absorb impacts and day to day use better and looks brand new still. I highly recommend this case if you are looking for an inexpensive, quality, clear case to house your iPhone.

BodyGuardz Carve, it surprised me to be honest. Not enough to abandon my otter box but it did look better then the otterbox and had the same feel. Let me go through my review: Feel: the otterbox is a more rigid plastic, feels harder and heavier while the Bodyguardz is a more malleable plastic that is lighter. I prefer the harder plastic but that is personal choice and it was close. Safety: both feel very safe when it comes to drops, both have similar ratings and coverage is excellent on the corners and also the camera area. I feel this is even, no real winner here except you and your peace of mind. Charging: both are able to be charged wirelessly without issue. Another even score. Weight: well to me the Bodyguardz is the clear winner here. Provides the same safe feeling and is lighter. Look: I did like the Bodyguardz better, the sizes looked much cooler and it feels like my otterbox has already started to… yellow a bit. Honestly this Bodyguardz is a great case and I would gladly use it if it wasn’t for the fact that historically I like the harder shell or plastic cases. I’m sticking with my otterbox but will use my Bodyguardz as well.

Had the phone and. Case for 2weeks and this case did not protect her phone from shattering

I recently picked up an iPhone 13 Pro Max and needed a good cover. I prefer the soft clear plastic type of cover so I can see my phone’s color. I selected the BodyGuardz - Carve Classic Case because it met my wishes for a clear soft plastic cover. I wanted to ensure that it properly covered my phone and didn’t leave the screen vulnerable when placed face down or crack from a short fall. I always seem to drop my phone when taking it out of my pants pockets and the BodyGuardz case has been there to save the screen from cracking. The sides have soft plastic buttons that line up perfectly with the iPhone’s lay out, and they work very well with minimal effort. Putting the BodyGuardz case on the iPhone is very easy, as is removing it. The only wish I have is that the edge around the screen was a little bit thicker to keep the screen a bit more off surfaces when placed faced down. Other than that, this is a great screen for any iPhone. I would recommend the BodyGuardz case for anyone in need of a good inexpensive case.

Bought on sale as my previous case (apple brand) literally fell apart. This is comfortable in the hand with nice texture along the sides as to not be slippery at all while using the phone. Excellent for either one or two handed use. Also, it fits the phone very well and as of the time of this review, has not shown any signs of yellowing or discoloration. I haven’t dropped my phone an excessive amount, perhaps four times since purchasing this case, and I havent noticed any scratches, cracks or other marks on the case or the rest of the phone of course. I am very happy so far, and would recommend this to others.

I like the case I was surprised that I did end up liking it because I usually buy and only stick to outter box cases but this one was available when I picked up my new phone and it’s been great. Fits the iPhone 13 pro max perfectly and feel nice to hold. Very sleek and not slippery at all. The side buttons work great. I’m very pleased with this case I would definitely buy it again. I’ve already dropped my NEW phone twice BUT thankfully the case & my screen protector did what they supposed to do my phone is fine. So yes I do recommend.

This case suits its purpose for me. I hardly ever drop my phone and yet feel the phone is protected enough. However, with new phones constantly being updated (new purchases), the costs of cases are usually slightly to heavily higher than one should expect. I guess, if cases truly are being tested with protection at the forefront, you would choose accordingly and hope you are making a purchase with whatever quality in mind to safeguard your phone investment. This case was one of the lowest prices I found for its type and convenience. One other consideration for me, the need to safeguard the front glass (on top of this purchase) and a way to safeguard the rear camera lense(s); which only ADDS to the consideration of which case to purchase, if researched well enough. Design and color (clear for me, to show off more of my phone) were high on my list of reasons. Buying a new phone is all-encompassingly costly!

I picked this case up when it was on sale. It looks and fits really good. The side buttons are very responsive and feel good to press with this case on. I’m happy overall with this purchase.
