It's a cute movie. Not my favorite of Disney but it entertains

It started off right. After the first 10mins of the cartoon, it turns out to be very slow and boring.

Good movie for any Disney fan and disney movie collector!

4 of 5 stars for the animated cute movie Bolt. The movie opens with an exciting adventure segment where our hero, the cute little dog, Bolt (John Travolta), is being chased by bad guys. Bolt demonstrates superhero abilities to save his owner Penny (Miley Cyrus). Well, we later learn that we were watching a movie being made and the abilities (like his super-bark) are movie magic. Well, Bolt manages to get FedExed from LA to NYC and starts his journey home. Along the way Bolt meets several new friends and discovers he is not a superhero, just a cute little dog. I won't spoil the ending. The graphics/animation in this movie are amazing! The most life-like animation I have ever seen. Truly amazing! The characters are wonderful though I was disappointed in the hamster [the movie trailer made the hamster seem more interesting that he really turned-out-to-be]. Even knowing that Bolt's voice was Travolta, it really didn't sound "like him"; yeah it was, just not obvious. This is good fun for the whole family. Even us oldsters found alot to enjoy in this movie. I recommend it!

Reading other reviews I do see why they included a dvd with the blu-ray for those who have a dvd player in their car. For awhile I've wanted to buy this because my girlfriend really liked the movie, but that $35 price tag kept staring me in the face. I understand the price being a blu-ray, having a dvd, and the digital copy of the film all in one package but all I wanted was the blu-ray so I was like nay nay. When I saw it for $24, I snatched it up real fast because this is a great movie and even more spectacular on blu-ray.

I enjoyed the film. From the reviews I read I did expect MORE. A different/new story. Good idea on that Disney I liked the animal characters, Rhino the best of them. What I did NOT like about the film was the 2 name voice talent. I am NOT a fan of Travolta & Miley "WHEN WILL THE 15 MINUTES BE UP?" Cyrus. I am NOT a country music fan so the soundtrack was not a stand out. 1 story flaw. EVERY TIME we see characters working in the entertainment industry we see the same type of studio big wigs, directors, etc. NEVER any change in that. No special, stand out extras with it. Nice for the digital copy if you choose to use it.

Being that it is a Disney Movie and offering the Regular DVD with it so that it makes good reason to but the Blu-ray. In the past with older Blu-ray Movies I would not buy them due to there being no way to play them in the car for the kids. I ran right out to buy this one in blu-ray. Let's me watch it at home in HD, and also lets the kids watch it when in the car. A+++ Should have been done befor this but better late then never!!!

All my children ages 11, 6, 4 loved this movie. I enjoyed it very much not to mention my dad was laughing and my mom loved the hampster. My 2 youngest kids watch the movie over and over they get so excited about the movie, it seems like they had never seen it before.

Bolt is about an actor dog who thinks the show he's in is real. Along the way comes Mittens and the hamster (sorry i can't remember his name at the moment) I like all the actors except for Penny's voice. Did they really have to use Miley Cyrus? Penny's not sussposed to sound that old. I really thought it was cute and hilarious though. I really enjoyed it.

I have a soft spot for good Disney movies and this is a good one although, I did like it more in theaters in 3-D. Fun movie for the entire family. One worth watching many times.

Fell in love with Bolt in theaters and had to purchase the bluray when it came out. The animation and voice acting are very well done. Definitely rewatchable since I really loved the characters and the plot is simple yet heartwarming.
