Don't buy the TiVo BOLT VOX - not working

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased TiVo BOLT VOX to replace failed (27 mo old) TiVo BOLT+ and had to return it - multiple functions not working, and no date from TiVo when it would be fixed. Could not pair remote, could not record from guide, could not see "what's on now", could not search, could not see any apps (i.e., Netflix, Prime, etc). TiVo offered exchange, but said that other customers were having these problems with the unit. As a fan of TiVo since it's inception, I was sad to give it up, but alas, their quality has deteriorated to the point of unacceptability. Luckily we have a Roku and we are now getting a cable cloud DVR. Sigh.

Defective unit according to TIVO support
