Movie sucked! Thought it was a western not a horror western.

Not worth the time to watch. Let alone price of dvd.

Love Kurt Russell ! This is a very strange but interesting movie. Kinda creepy too but I do plan on buying it. I do recommend it but not for kids.

I had heard this film was a mix of horror and western, but it is much more of a western centered on a handful of characters, well written and acted. (There are a few scary elements and a scene that may have you peeking through your fingers.) The blu-Ray looks and sounds great, with a few extras about the modest production and first-time director (but longtime writer) S. Craig Zahler.

Honestly had not heard anything about this movie before purchase. Just saw it had Kurt Russell and a few other familiar names. I thought it was going to be a western but it turned out to be more of a horror movie based during that time period. Not bad at all for something that didn't get a lot of promotion. Check it out.

Great cast and amazing performances! The twist at the end is very surprising if you have not heard much about this film and pushes the film into a whole other genre entirely.

Bone Tomahawk is a mix of Western & Horror. It's done incredibly well. Make no mistake, by the end you'll be squirming in your seat!

As I've stated this movie is a great Western with a twist...cannibals. Kurt Russell gives a great performance and the pace of the movie never gets tedious and keeps you interested.

I didn't know what to expect but bought this movie due to the actors. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed this strange interpretation of the western movie.

One of the best contemporary westerns in a long time. Far better than Kurt Russell's turn in 'The Hateful Eight."

It's terrible. It's slow, very plodding in its pace. It bills itself as a Western/Horror, but really has neither. There's a Western setting, to be sure, and there's some gore at the end, but nothing about it says Western and nothing about it says horror. The "Western" aspects are merely setting and window dressing (like old-timey sounding dialog such as phrases like "tincture"); don't expect to see cowboys or a slice of life in the West. The actors seem like they are simply reading their lines and phoned in their performances. The writing is terrible. If you're interested in this movie, rent it first. I would NOT recommend a purchase, and would highly recommend you to save 2 hours of your life. But hey, it's your time and money.

The movie was very slow, and seem like the effects were low budget. I thought sense they had good known actors in the movie I expected to see much better, however I guest you could say it was more of a low budget horror movie.
