Doesn't really do the job. Hard to hold in hand without worrying about dropping it when working. I would suggest an off brand

I've bought many tablets and phones and as a result numerous cases for them by many different manufacturers. I have never found an OEM case that I liked and typically would return it for a third-party one. This one is an exception. The Tab S is thin--really thin, and this case keeps it thin. It is a very low profile case that provides adequate protection for the sensitive corners of the device. Whenever I hold the device in my hand I cannot believe how light and thin it is even with a case attached. The buttons to attach the case are ingenious and are really what allows this case to be so low-profile. It does not need to wrap around the tablet, just pop it in. And not to worry about it coming off either. In fact, if you are one who changes cases or wants to take it off from time to time then this case may not be for you because it is not that easy to get off. Finally, I bought the case primarily to protect the device and not so much for its functionality as a stand. But I absolutely LOVE it when using it a stand. It has three positions (really all you need) and is stable enough that you can even use the stand while the tablet rests in your lap. Yes, it is expensive being that it is just a case but it is worth it.

I've always thought Samsung brand cases were a ripoff that could be easily replaced by an aftermarket case for a fraction of the price - until now. The design of this case is brilliant. The snap buttons on the back keep the case profile at a minimum. This means you can fold the cover back when holding the tablet like a book very comfortably. The material the cover made from is very soft to the touch and feels like quality. To make things best of all the case allows for 3 different viewing angles and is quite stable due to smart use of magnets. The material has the feel of something very easy to clean which is important if you own a white one. If you can get this on sale for $39.99 it is a steal.

Just remember this is not a case, don't expect it to protect your device from more than minor screen scratches when jostling around in a bag. It is an excellent stand for watching movies on a table or to give you a little more to hold on to. The case snaps onto the back of the Tab and holds very well, I've not once had it pop off.

Was somewhat reluctant about the stand positions since my previous two Galaxy tablets (original Tab & Note 1014) Samsung made cases were flimsy when in use. However, surprisingly the 3 positions are much more stable than I expected. All positions are stable & case is very slim. Stays in place since there are two buttons holding it in place so very unlikely to pop/fall off. Pricey at full MSRP but mos def worth it on sale. Highly recommended!

I have to admit, I was very close to taking this case back to the store for an exchange when I looked at youtube to trouble shoot how to use it. Once you fasten the tablet, it does keep it a firm hold. I thought I was going to press too hard and permanently mark up my screen or break it when trying to snap the tablet into the case. It actually snaps in to the two little spring-loaded "circles" on the back of your s tab. I gave up too quickly at first then decided to give it one more chance. I like the case, it's definitely a compliment to the s tab and obviously made just for it. My tab is gold, but I liked the white case to switch it up. There is "dimpling" on the case just like the back of the tab S, but lighter impressions. I like how there is the option to fold it several ways, but honestly, I bought the case to just give minimal protection when carrying it in my bag. I am a very careful person, so I know the ramifications of buying a case like this where there is minimal protection. If you are hard on your devices, then go for something more rugged. I do not fold it all the different ways, but I appreciate the options. I also love that it has the camera cutout. In all, this case is better than trying to travel around without a case at all. This is a good option if you don't want to bulk up the tablet with the weight of a rugged case especially when tablets like to flaunt their thinness as selling points.

Cover fits perfectly and the three positions are well thought out. The only issue with this cover is at $70, it is way overpriced. At this price it should be made of quality leather. I managed to pick it up for $35 on sale during during "black Friday" week which is more appropriate. I am recommending this cover with the proviso that it can be bought on sale.

this book cover does not secure the tablet. If you are looking for security this is not the book cover for you.

Tab S is by far the best tablet I have bought since the orig iPad, this case is perfectly fitted to the tablet and looks very custom made. Its professional and a joy to use. I would advise buying it with the Tab S for 50% off because at $70 its definitely not worth it. Samsung should lower the cost.

I purchased this yesterday along with the 32GB Galaxy Tab S in Bronze. The cover is gorgeous, easy to use and light, although a bit pricey. However, it was worth the money. It's well made and feels like it will last a long time. I've read reviews where people say it doesn't work or the tablet keeps sliding - that just means you didn't push hard enough on the tablet when attaching the cover!! :) As for the tablet itself, I'll write a separate review on that after using it for sometime.

This product has too many flaps. Otterbox should make a defender case.

Don't let the price tempt you to buy an off brand case. Unfortunately I made that mistake as was not happy with the result. I licked my wounds and bought the Samsung Case and have never looked back. It is a very clever design that fits the tablet perfectly and offers a number of viewing positions. Well worth the money!

It's my first BB review...I picked up my galaxy tab S today and purchased the cover to go along with it to offer me screen protection. I love the case as I have the note pro 12.2 also with the book cover. I enjoy that this case snaps into place very securely which the note pro doesn't. Also this case has one more offering of a fold angle to better suit my needs. Another thing I like about this case is that the cover offers a flap that folds over the front of the case when closed giving a very secure seal and will not open unless I open it myself. Only downside is that the case when opened covers the camera lens, so how would one take photos. This doesn't bother me since I don't take pictures with my tablet. But if you do take pictures with your tablet, this may be a reason to avoid this purchase.

I purchased the cover during a half off sale and I must say, it was a great decision. It's thin, light and fits the tablet perfectly. It feels very premium in hand.

Bought this cover for my son's Samsung tablet. It's sturdy and has a magnetic closure. It also matches his white tablet.

This cover matches the bronze tablet perfectly and provides solid protection. That''s all that I ask for
