Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the excellent protection and good fit this Book Cover Stand Case provides for their Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Many appreciate its ease of use, lightweight design, and the quality for the price. However, some users find the stand feature and camera accessibility could be improved. The case's slim profile is a plus for many, though others mention it may not be sturdy enough for all uses.

I purchased one of these for a note 8.0 and was rather pleased with it up until I dropped it one day. Needless to say, the note was fried but it does just fine against most everything else. Bought a new one for my note 10.1, will make sure not to drop it.

Pros: lightweight, reasonably comfortable when holding the tablet, easy access to ports. Cons: doesn't stand up well (touching the screen at all will probably knock it over), minimal protection, against scratches only (my tablet fell less than 3 feet and the screen completely shattered - even a tiny bit of rubber on the corners would have absorbed some of the impact)

    Great JOB Samsung

Samsung really planned ahead with the release of the Note 10.1 (2014) edition and this book cover proves it. It is a bit on the pricey side;however, I was in the market for a cover that did not detract from the premium look of the cover and this case gets it done. It allows you to protect the device and at the same time does NOT take away from the work Samsung put into making the device look professional. You can tell that Samsung planned for this case as as soon as you put it on your device it not only does its job, it also gives your device added functionality. It will turn the device off when you simply close it and it will also bring about the feature known as Daynote. Daynote activates when you open the book cover and allows you to immediately create a memo, check the time, and the weather. The cover itself is premium with the same look as the actual back of the note and the front appears to be genuine leather. Good Job Samsung... The only gripe I have is that the book cover is pricey. 79.99 is a bit much no matter how great the a product it is. With that being said, I bought it and don't regret it in the least. Stands to reason that the best cover for the Note is made by Samsung

Perfect Cover for the Note 10.1

This is the perfect cover for the 10.1 Note tablet, keeps the slim profile of the tablet and adds no bulk like other cases. Premium look and feel and includes the sleep/awake function like the Apple smart cover. Pricey but well worth the cost.

The case is really nice looking and I love the magnetic stand feature. However, due to the design of the case (to show off samsung's great product) there isn't a magnet to keep the cover closed. Especially when its all bent out of shape from using the stand. Its rather annoying as is having to hold the tablet differently cause the case flips open backward. Its not for me. Im returning it.

Functional and fits well. Would protect from minor incidents but cannot see it protect the device in a fall. So if it happens to u a lot, go with another cover

    Overpriced and hinders tablet functionality.

This case is thin and light. It closely matches the construction style of the tablet itself. But unfortunately, that's as far as I can say positively about this case. As you would expect, the holes are in the right places: Pen still comes out. The back camera can see out the back. The volume jack is accessible. But the camera will get blocked when you open the unit, and using either one of the designed viewing angles will prevent you from plugging the charger into the unit. Additionally, if you setup the viewing angles, the case front will become warped and no longer conform to the front of the tablet. This may fade away as the case receives more wear, I intend to test it out for at least a week before judging for sure. All in all, I would hold off on buying this case. It's mediocre design is expensive, and more or less just a poor knockoff of Apple's attempt with their Smart Cover.

    Great Cover

I love this cover! When you close the cover it places the tablet in sleep mode which really improves battery life. I also love that when you open the cover it opens up to a note window, I use the s-pen note feature a lot when I am out shopping or for business so this is a great feature for me. The tablet ports and camera lens are open and easily accessible which is nice. I debated on buying this cover because it is expensive, but for me the features you get using this cover is worth the extra money. I am glad that I decided to purchase this item!

Been reading some negative reviews concerning this cover and I'm not sure why. Some say it's cheap quality, maybe, I guess for $80 it could be thicker, but doesnt that defeat the purpose of keeping it thin to show off the tablet. The first one that I purchased was this monster leather cover that made the tablet look 2 inches thick. For me, this one dows the trick and feels good to the touch.

Decent if it were only a $10-$20 case

At $80 I would expect something like the Otterbox offerings, and I knew it was overpriced while I was buying it, but felt I was held hostage needing to find something to put the device in. This case offers very minimal prtection. The flap doesn't stay closed even if you lean the tablet against a wall or especially not if have it upside down. The magnet does a good enough job of holding in the low-angle position, but it will not stand up in the high angle position. This case just barely covers the corners and I don't even think it will last long. So my $80 case has my wife's hair band around it to keep the case shut and I'm desperately seeking other options. I wish I could return it but there's nothing else worth doing. There are some available online that look like better quality for less money, but if you want to walk out of a store with a protected tablet, you're out of luck. If this were $20 or under, I'd consider it a decent holdover until I could find something better or a decent lightweight case for short term use, but at $80 it is an utterly atrocious markup on a mediocre product. They must have massive margins on this.
