I bought this because Norman Reedus was in it. It was a very good story, but very violent & bloody.

Liked the show a little old but very interesting to see how things were in other cities

I purchased this movie because of all the times I've heard people say it's a classic and the price at best buy was great. I got bored mid-movie. Can't say that it's horrible, just not my cup of tea I guess.

I felt like washing my hands after subjecting myself to this movie. I immediately took it back and got my money back.

Boondock Saints is one of the better movies I've seen. First you have to get past the plot of the movie. You have to understand that the two brothers and crew have taken on the role of religious vigilantes, that go on a massive killing spree of criminals, because they believe it's for the good of the people. With that in mind Boondock Saints has some great shooter action, and in no way gives you the typical these guys are invincible feel, that you sometimes get from your other action heroes in Hollywood. Boondock Saints also offers some mild comedic scenes in the way that they get the killing done, as the stars are far from professionals at what they are attempting to do. The Boondock Saints also carries with it a huge controversy around the director Troy Duffy, this being what I believe was his first and last shot at directing. If you want to find out more about what happened with him look into renting Overnight. A documentary made by his friends about his overnight rise and fall in fame. Despite all that, Boondock Saints is very well made and an enjoyable movie. You won't regret picking this movie up.

A couple of Irishmen, lots of beer, guns, shooting, and tons of action, what else do you need? The dialog is very entertaining and the war between the Irish saints and the Italian Mafia continues. Willem Dafoe is brilliant in this movie and has a couple catchphrase moments in the movie. This is one of my all-time favorite movies, if you've seen it then you need to buy it so you always have it on hand, if you havent seen it, then you need to.

The Boondock Saints is one of the most pleasant surprises I've had in my years of watching indies, and it proves conclusively that you don't need a massive budget to do a terrific action film! Great story, great action and twists along the way. What's not to love about this little fun cinematic gem? The Blu-ray -- dodgy video is bolstered by great audio, and there are some fine supplements. I hoped for more of an upgrade here over the standard DVD, but fans of "Boondock Saints" should give this a Blu-ray look.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time! A story of two brothers, from Boston, that decide to take the law into their own hands. They wipe the scumbags off of the streets and, some how, have a hilarious storyline. A must have for anyone that likes action movies comparable to "Pulp Fiction", "Way of the Gun", etc. also for anyone wanting to see a couple Irish dudes kick some mobster behind! Erin Go Braugh!
