Phone worked great for a day and then started crashing freezing and just lagging I had the first j7 for 2 years and never had a complaint I returned this phone for a different one and within a week same thing I feel like buying this phone is like giving up internet for aol dialup

The battery takes 18 to 20 hours to fully charge. You'll need two phones.

I bought it and the salesman, Davidege, sent me home with it to see if it would start up because it wouldn't for him. I was having surgery the next day, so i have not come back to get my money back, $239.00 + tax. But, i will be coming in!

Very difficult for mine to use. He is sight impaired and the person who sold it to us knew this. Not sure if there is a better one for his condition. Or was he just not set up well. Sharon wahl (wife)

This is an ok phone for the price. I have a problem with not being able to answer it when someone is calling if I am in an app.

I was looking to replace my old stylus with a new cell. I looked at the j3 emerge, LG stylus 2 &3 and the LG Xpower..i ended purchasing the Samsung J7 perx. Im pleased with the 2.2 processor, battery life, andd feel of the phone, sound quality is great,ext speakers very loud.body shape is thin, great resoulstion.

Great phone, but the specs from Best Buy are wrong. First, this does not have a Super AMOLED display. Second, it is a octi-core processor, not a quad core. These things make a difference - get it right. The battery has 50% more capacity than the S6 this is replacing. The processor is more powerful. The display is larger. The display and camera quality are not as good, but good enough. For the price, this is a no brainer choice for a good phone. I'm done paying for the elite S series Samsung phones. The J series has now caught up, and for a fraction of the price.

This phone is worthless I purchased in May its end of June and I want to throw this phone across the room against the wall... hmmm maybe it will start Working like an actual phone... it's slow as quicksand..

This phone keep getting froze in 1st week. I expect better from Samsung even with 2.2 processor this fone is not a great at all the camera quality sucks.

this phone is slow loading data and apps. half the time it does not receive data. I would never buy another phone like this again.

Just not a true Samsung version that samsung Can produce for all the same products with the name Samsung

Almost everyone says, it starts out performing fantastically... it should with a 66,000 Antutu Score (mid to high end phone). The folks that say it slows down after a month, need to sort their app installations by date, and start unisntalling the latest ones, till they find the culprit.

Since i got this phone about 2 month ago it has been a horrible experience. I can't run multiple app without the phone freezing. sometimes even just 1 app will run super slow. I even had to delete some of the apps so the phone can run smoothly. My old samsung J7 was way better. whenever i get a change I'm going back to store to get a new phone. would not recommend this phone to anyone.

I have a 2016 version of the Galaxy J7 and picked this up thinking upgrade due to faster processor but after reviews and research I find this to be a downgrade. smaller rear camera, no front flash, no panoramic photo ability, no FM tuner, lower grade display (LCD vs AMOLED), less memory i.e. 2G+16G memory vs 16G memory, and least of all is the range of networks the J7 Prix can access is less so in other words roaming ability is reduced. I haven't personally experienced this but there are a lot of reviews I've read where the phone overheats and slows down. I'll return this and keep my J7 even with the slower processor and wait for the J8 maybe.

I hate this phone! Its going back tomorrow. For the price and how they claim if you loved the galaxy s5 youll love this just as much. NO NO NO. I've had this phone for about a month hoping it would het better. It constantly freezes, it has horrible lag time, someone calls and the screen turns black and by time i answer they are hangin up. i even paid for a internet upgrade for my house to see if that was the issue....NOPE. it took my about 25 mins just to type this b.c the freezing is so common. I would rather have an old school flip phone than this p.o.s. its bounces from screen to screen, god forbid your doing something on the internet and someone calls lol. I give this phone a negative 2. DONT BUY THIS PHONE
