When I first purchased this phone just days after it came onto the market, I LOVED it!!! I had a Blackberry prior to this phone and just was on cloud nine with what this phone did! THEN...one day it upgrades itself...Now I can no longer upload apps...I get messages several times a day saying I have not enough room to upgrade the apps that are already on the phone...these are the ones that you cannot take off your phone! I have deleted all apps off the SIM card (except Angry Birds...LOL!). There is no app on this phone that didn't come with the phone! And yet every day, several times a day, my phone tries to upgrade the apps it came with and every day, several times a day, I get messages stating not enough memory on phone to upgrade...blah blah blah! Now I hate this phone! Thinking of changing services because of this problem!

Was great the first week and then it keep freezing when used with skype

LOVE this phone, do alot of traveling and it seems to be very reliable on service!

I was so excited to get this phone till I actually started using it. At times the touch screen won't respond causing me to have to turn off then on the phone, it drops calls a lot and I can almost never get on the web. I will be replacing this ASAP! Save your money, not worth it.

Basically, Boost hamstrung this phone by not allowing users to move the pre-installed bloatware apps to the SD card or delete them. With very limited memory, it impossible to install more than a few apps on this phone. Pros: decent screen SD memory slot Very loud mono speaker Cons: -Too little phone memory, combined with useless bloatware apps that can't be removed -low resolution camera -Very poor battery performance (never lasts a whole day with very light use) -Won't run native flash I can't recommend this phone to anyone that wants to install apps on their phone. It might work for someone that only uses gmail and a web browser, but what is the point of running Android if there isn't room to install apps? There are better options in this price range.

STILL WAITING TO SEE WHATS THE PROBLEM WITH THE BATTERY

This phone was perfect at first, I loved every minute of it. I was a new Boost customer and was looking for a nice Android phone with no contract. I bought this phone in May of 2011 and was great until September of 2011. The phone froze up and rebooted itself and it all went down from there. Problems listed below: POSITIVES: Swype Texting No Contract Modern Looking Phone NEGATIVES: -Unactivated Voicemail -Horrible Charger/ Now my phone only charges with one specific charger -Constantly beeping or vibrating saying phone is charging when it truly is not -Low phone memorey -Dreadful permanent apps -Total touch screnn can be a pain at times

I agree with the last posting. This phone is a piece of junk. Touch Screen? Maybe. Sometimes it works and sometimes it dosen't. I have ZERO reception. Taking a call is a nightmare. The screen goes dark after 2 seconds and you have to play 20 presses with the button to get it back on. I'm not a fan of touch screen phones and after wasting my money on this piece of total junk I will remain not a fan. What ever happened to the BalckBerry flip phone? It was on the market for about 30 days. I thought 200 dollars a a little stiff but it had great reviews from almost everyone.

BOUGHT PHONE TWICE IN NEWPORT NEWS,VA WHILE THERE VISITING AND FOR SOME WIERD COINCIDENCE PHONE IN LESS THEN FIVE FROZED UP ON ME AND PHONE WENT CRAZY.I JUST TOOK THE PHONE WENT BACK TO PA. WENT TO BESTBUY RETURN PHONE GOT THE SAME ONE,U KNOW WHAT THE PHONE DID IT AGAIN NOW THIS IS A MANUFACTOR ISSUE HERE.TWO PHONES BOUGHT IN VA.ONE IN PA.THE THREE DONE THE SAME.PHONE IS GARBAGE,WANABE OF THE LG ANDROID VIRGIN PHONE,BY THE WAY BEST PHONE I EVER BOUGHT IN MY WHOLE LIFE AND I AM FORTHY YEARS OLD, SO I HAD MANY. Bought this new Galaxy Prevail, had high hopes. Though a bit small was at first very cool...until about 3 weeks into the job. Started to freeze up and then just went into convulsions meaning turning on and off all by itself. Went back to the store and exchanged it. Now we are 1 week into this new ownership and lo and behold....same thing. 2 for 2?!?! What are the odds? It seems that when an app is on for a bit of time like music it starts to freeze up. Would recommend the old house rotary phone before this.

i bought this phone because i wanted a android based phone. only had it for 2 months now none of the features i bought it for work anymore the ringer has quit and it no longer vibrates either. so i called samsung and their warranty service sucks have to send them my phone for repair not replacement i was told by there customer service department they were doing my a favor and offering me a free repair on a phone that is still covered under there warranty. I WILL NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN.

i purchased 2 of these phone one for me and one for my wife they are the worst phone i have ever seen even with full signal when people call the phone would never ring just get a voice mail then when you would hang up the phone would lock up and you could not hit the end button you would have to remove the battery and it was not just one of the phones it was mine and hers so we returned both of the phones and purchased ZTE WARP from Boost Mobile they are the best phones i have ever used

Bought the phone a year ago. It was a good phone at first until it slowly started to act up. Would randomly restart or shut off, wouldnt ring when receiving phone calls, wouldnt end a phone call until you pulled the battery out, the memory is horrible. You can only hold 3 apps. Freeze randomly. Seems like every year I have to replace my phone.

This phone makes me appreciate my Motorola i1, even with the Android 1.5 and the slow IDEN network. After waiting for the Samsung Prevail to be released, I was very disappointed with the performance. This phone constantly freezes up and has to be reset. Other than that I like the phone. Hopefully Samsung can work the bugs. At this present time don't waste your time purchasing this phone because it is a LEMON!!!

This phone sucks!!!! Do not buy!!!! You can barely hear, the battery life is horrible, it drops calls constantly, and the internet takes forever to load. I been a Boost customer for 2 years, and my one complaint on ALL their phones is the internet speed, but this phone is worse. This isn't a a smart phone, its a dumb phone. Save yourself the money and headache

Well for start, this phone is not good. It freezes up every time you use it. When you make a call, it freezes up and you can't hang up. You have to keep taking the battery out to start it over. This phone is sooo not building up to my standards. And I'm payed for a poor phone. I advise no one to purchase it. When you call boost it's like nothing they can do.

omg... This phone freeze randomly and shuts off and re-starts randomly. also 2 weeks after purchase i got a "unable to charge un-authorized battery". what the !@!%!)?...its the battery that came with the frickin' phone!another added feature is when you place the phone down on a counter,car seat or even your pocket .it shuts off..

What can I say........the phone screen was freezing up shortly after setting it up and it has only gotten worse. Service is horrible. Can't get a tech on the line if your life depended on it. Short battery life. I am looking for a new phone now and I will also be getting a bigger screen size while I'm at it.

LOVE THE PHONE AND THE FACT THAT IT CAN DOWNLOAD APPS.

this phone is not even worth to be called a galaxy phone, doesnt even have the hummingbird processor and a 2.0 mp camera seriously this phone is worth no more than $80 i would not recommend it just get a contract phone you wont get the short end of the stick with those phones like you would with boost
