Really, Really Hard to Love
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the idea of android-powered e-ink device, but... man, is this thing just... aggressively hard to love. For a device as seemingly well-spec'd as it is, this thing runs worse than a budget android phone from 2015. Pros: - Phone-sized/shaped profile makes carrying super easy. - Android OS means you can just use whatever reading apps you want. - Looks cool as heck. Cons: - terrible battery life. Barely makes it 6 hours of reading. - Sluggish, buggy performance - App crashes are fact of life. - form factor makes reading difficult - backlights have ZERO gradation, they're basically all on or all off. - constant issues with backlights changing between apps. - You're stuck on Android 11; you will NEVER get another OS version update. - Price is absurd.

Good protection & magnet flat tabs keeps it closed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, it is probably worth it. There is like a $20 one on Amazon that lets you remove the device from the case and it has a magnet to hold it back in place. The small down side is it has to fold back when using the device so not a perfect solution but doable. I got a deal on a left over first gen Palma that came with the same case so returned my to bestbuy as not now needed. Sort of like the black color over the white/tan one though just fyi
