    Great Dishwasher

Took about a month for our dishwasher to arrive because of supply chain issues but well worth the wait. Replaced our nearly 20 year old GE which was still working OK but had gotten too noisy for our taste and was the last white appliance in our kitchen. It was also starting to have a hard time keeping things super clean. This Bosch unit was very easy to install ourselves. You will only need a 90* elbow fitting for the hot water line but other than that, everything is supplied. You can pick up an elbow fitting rather easily in the Lowes or HD plumbing dept. The dishwasher plugged right into our wall outlet and we did not need the power inverter. Lots of settings to work with. Wish the washer had a pocket for pre-wash detergent but we just sprinkle a little powder on the inside of the door before each wash and inside the detergent compartment for a great wash each time. The normal wash cycle goes a bit longer than our old GE but it gets the dishes very clean. Door handle could feel a bit more sturdy but otherwise the quality is great and looks very nice with the stainless steel inside. SOO much more quiet than our old GE. We can barely tell its running with our TV on. Overall, very impressed. My only complaint is that I wish the washer had a quicker way to dry dishes. Seems to stay moist inside longer than I expect but usually dishes are pretty dry by the next morning after running it at night. Wish Bosch made more mid-entry level priced appliances so our whole house could have their products. Very happy we replaced our GE.

This is a quiet dishwasher that really cleans what goes in it. It was more affordable than we thought and with free delivery and installation, (there was a promotion for the installation) the purchase was a good deal. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. It is so quiet, you would never know its on.

Coming from a higher end GE Profile. I had heard raves about these dishwashers fom close friends and Consumer Reports. It does clean dishes VERY well. While it may be slighlty quieter, the cycles take long (AUTO is 2 hours!) so the total noise the unit puts out is more than my GE. The interior seems smaller and the racks less flexible than the GE - meaning I'm doing more loads. I'm satisfied - just thought it would be MUCH better than my GE. Just hope it does not break - heard they are VERY expensive to fix...

This dishwasher does work quietly, and the dishes are clean. However, they do stay fairly wet. This doesn't bother me as much as it bothers my kids who usually put the dishes away. What does bother me is how the bottom rack always comes off the rollers when I pull it out. It's impossible to load the dishes without pulling the bottom rack out, yet every time I pull on it I have to readjust it back on to the track. If I had known this was an issue I would not have purchased this dishwasher. The sound of the rack coming off of the track reminds me of cheap dollar store toys. Weird I know, but that's what comes to mind. Bosch is supposed to be one of the best, but I never had this issue with cheaper dishwashers.

This dishwasher is very quiet. I am pleased with the cleanliness of the dishes. However, the cycles are very long compared to other dishwashers I have had in the past.

Quiet operation is very important for us because we have high ceilings and wooden floors throughout our house. The Bosch is very quiet. It washes dishes well, but it is a couple of inches smaller in the measurement from front to back. We bought this one to replace a Bosch that needed new circuit boards (after 6 years). Cheaper to replace than to repair. Hope we get more years out of this one.

Best dishwasher I have ever had and I have had 4 previous ones in two different brands. I never thought I would LOVE a dishwasher, but I love this one! It gets my dishes clean every time even if I don't rinse them first and food it stuck and dried on. The only dishes that don't come clean are the ones that have burnt bits on the sides from something being baked in them. However, even these dishes come almost clean and all I have to do is give them a quick light scrub and run then through with the next load.

    Great Dishwasher for the Price

I am very happy with my first Bosch dishwasher. This was at the price point I desired (~$500) and it is leaps and bounds better than the one we replaced. If you had a loud dishwasher before and are looking for something quieter, definitely look into this model. My wife and I can barely hear it run during its cycle. About the only reminder we get that it's running is a click it will make when going into the wash part of the cycle. Dishes come out clean and dry, although a few items do need a bit of toweling off (coffee mugs, GLAD-ware type dishes and their lids, take and toss kids cups to name a few), but I've never seen a dishwasher that gets all the water off of things, rinse aid or not. The only thing that I'm getting used to is the layout of the racks. My previous dishwasher was a bit more wide open, and I had a routine down. I'm starting to get into one with this model, so there may be a bit of a "feeling out" period. Bottom line is that it is worth your money and I really don't see the need for the $700+ units. Highly recommended

The dishes come out clean, but without a heating element are never completely dry. The top and bottom racks have crazy set-ups, so it is hard to configure a large load. Takes 2 hours and 10 minutes for a normal cycle. Seems too long.

    Quietly Cleans very well, but...

Cleans very well and so quiet, but doesn't hold as much as you think. There are so many dividers and so close together. So if only cleaning plates and bowls, it would hold a ton. But who only does, just plates and bowls? Try to put just one large 12" skillet in and most are too tall to fit between the dividers so it has to lay across the top of them. One skillet could take up almost a fourth of the bottom rack. Now what if you have a big boiling paste pot too? My old dishwasher held a lot more and I had to run it only about every 2-3 days when full. With new dishwasher, things don't fit in as well, so end up running it every 1 to 1.5 days when full.I hope with advances in technology it uses less water and electricity, so that with running loads so much more frequently I am not lossing money on this upgrading. Separation between dividers needs to be addressed by the designer. More flexible options to lower a few here and there to accommodate larger items on the lower rack, so they can remain more vertical instead of being forced to lay almost horizontal would be very beneficial and actually allow you to get more into dishwasher instead of less.

The first one of these we purchased had an issue but we like the washer so much that when Bosch paid us a full refund of our money we purchased the same one again. It deserves the ratings in gets in consumer reports. It is extremely quiet and cleans well. It is also easy to operate.

Easy to install and works great. It is very quiet. It dries our dishes fine. There are multiple settings for drying time so all the reviews I saw where people said it didn't dry the dishes must have overlooked this adjustable setting.

The Bosch Ascenta 24 Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher is an excellent choice. It is so quiet I have to check the buttons to make certain it is running. There is plenty of room for washing daily dishes (4 person family). Dishes come out clean. No rewashing necessary.

Cleans very well. Plates are dry after wash but there is some water on top of the Tupperware but that is probably unavoidable. Very quiet and looks great. Installation wasn't bad. Having one wheel in the back to adjust height was well thought out.

This dishwasher works great assuming you don't mind your dishes being a little wet at the end of the wash. I'm hoping that I'm getting an energy savings out of that. Ultimately, it's a very small nuisance. The other nuisance is the two racks. I have had many different dishwashers over the years and never had issues getting dishes to fit. The racks for this dishwasher are off kilter. With effort, I'm able to make it work in the end though I'm not able to get as many dishes in it (which may be the reason the design). For the positives, the dishes are cleaned well, the dishwasher is really quiet, and the dishwasher itself looks good. The price was right at the time and I got free installation. So, I'm still glad I got the dishwasher.

We have had the dishwasher for a few weeks and it has cleaned just about everything we put in it. It cleans much better than our previous dishwasher and is quieter. Installation is a bit of a frustration. The 90 degree inlet for the water and the wire strain relief were not included with the machine. I would have gladly paid a few extra dollars to have those item included and saved a trip to the hardware store. Be sure to get everything listed on the dishwasher box.

The Bosch Ascenta is a great model, we did our research on the different makes/models and decided that this is the model to go with. We are delighted with our choice. Everything we read about how quiet this model is and how clean the dishes come out is true. We have hard water and our old Frigidare dishwasher was no longer working that well. Between the new water softener and the new dishwasher my silverware and glasses are shining as if they were brand new. The handles on the baskets to pull the baskets in & out when loading/unloading dishes is helpful too. Best Buy had the best price. The delivery schedule was flexible and the installlers were able to hook it up in no time. The only drawback is it is smaller than the old dishwasher and holds about 4 less glasses on top and I can't load as many pots/pans into the bottom rack either, but we knew this when we purchased it.
