Great dishwasher...no need to spend more

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this dishwasher....the top rack can be inserted lower for larger items, the silverware basket can split in two and you can remove one half for more bottom rack space. It's super quiet, easy to converse in the kitchen while it's going. Also easy to operate. I also found the dishes to be quit dry at the end of the cycle. I never pre-rinse, but don't expect it to clean "baked on" food very well. I installed it myself, pretty easy to do (it came with the cable that plugs into a wall outlet, and I was already setup to handle that). You DO need to buy a new water connector hose (if you are replacing a really old machine, be sure that your shutoff valve is OK, and you can screw in a 3/8" connector on the hose).

Cleans well and is fairly quiet, her kitchen is separate from the living room and you can’t hear anything.

quiet but hard to stack the way i'd like

There is no way to properly arrange the juice containers and water bottles as all the prongs are slanted. Also hard to arrange the serving pieces and casserole dishes.

Two years and needs major repairs

Based on those reviews I bought one. Now a little over two years from purchase I have to replace the impeller, which is at the heart of the machine. This is not what I expected. I would not recommend this dishwasher.

Dishwasher does not dry the dishes well

The first one worked well so when it stopped working I replaced it with another Bosch. This one never seems to get the dishes dry. I think the energy star adjustments they have done reduced drying quality.
