My opinion of this dishwasher is that it is just ok. After hearing from multiple sources that appliances are now built to only last 5-6 years I had decided that spending a lot of money on one thinking it would last longer was not smart. My main concern was the noise level as my last one was pretty quiet and it was nice being able to run it and still be able to have a conversation in my kitchen. It was a kitchen aid and I loved it until the computer board started failing after 5 years of ownership and it was expensive to fix. I did some research and Bosch seemed to get very good reviews. I chose this series because of the quiet rating and the price. This dishwasher takes some getting used to. The rack system is odd and not sure why they would make everything so cramped. It is a challenge trying to get it loaded efficiently. I have tried the different cycles but the only one that seems to dry the dishes is the heavy wash cycle. The other cycles do not dry well at all. I will say it is pretty quiet- not as quiet as my other one but we can definitely have a conversation while it’s running. This dishwasher is fine if you are looking for a basic machine.

It hold a lots. The dishes come out very clean. It takes awhile to get used to stack items in a different order from old Maytag unit. I never used the drying cycle on the Maytag so having some residual water in the new unit is OK.

Don't waste your time doing research and looking all over the place. This is what you need if you want quality, quiet, and reliable performance.

First time ever purchase a Bosch product and have been very pleasantly surprised of the cleaning and quietness it runs on.

It is still early - one month of actual use - but we are thrilled with our new dishwasher. Incredibly quiet, cleans well, flexible rack configurations. No problems, no complaints. Happy customers.

Love it! So very quiet and dishes are sparkling! What more could you want?

This quiet unit washes very well and with our soft water, we have no issues with the dishes coming out clean and quite dry. We use a rinse agent but find we have to be careful filling the dispenser to avoid spills. We like the countdown timer but realize that may not be a big deal for others. At the end of the cycle, the display reads 0:00 which is fine. However, once the dishwasher is opened and unloaded, the display starts flashing. The only way to turn it off is via the power button. On our old dishwasher, we didn't need to do that: it would turn off automatically. We also would have liked a rinse and hold option but instead just use the express wash with no detergent. Loading the dishwasher takes a little getting used to but is easy once you do. Think we might prefer defaulting to last cycle used instead of always "auto." Also would prefer an individual button for each cycle instead of multiple presses of a single button. These are all minor items and overall we would recommend this dishwasher.

We are very happy with this purchase. the dishwasher is about a month old now, which has giving us the time to see how it works. It's relatively quiet. It leaves the dishes spotless, even the greasier ones.

The dishes come out clean (full disclosure: I do rinse off all food debris from dishes and silverware before putting them in). The machine is very quiet. And I love that the installation was free.

This is a good quality machine. It runs quiet but for long wash time (2 hours sometimes.) It had 2 problems immediately. One was the door did not close properly and the other is the soap dispenser did not close properly. Both problems were fixed quickly by warranty service. I feel that the racks and rollers could be better. When the top rack is full and heavy it is hard to open due to sagging possibly caused by high heat. It goes back to normal when it cools and is emptied. Consumer Reports rates this #1! I do recommend that you give this serious consideration if you are in the market for a dishwasher.

While this dishwasher runs very quietly and clean well, it is VERY hard to load. Still haven't figured out the best way to fit my dishes in. Definitely not designed for pots and large bowls. Can't fit nearly as many dishes in as my old one. Don't think I would buy again.

This dishwasher performs well. It is extremely quiet. You can hardly tell it's running unless you're standing in front of it. Dishes are clean with no streaks. Very happy.

Love it. Cleans well, is very quiet and looks beautiful in my kitchen. Install went amazing too.

Simply put, this dishwasher is easy to use, simple controls, intuitive wash cycles (senses how dirty the dishes are and uses appropriately more or less water) and is by far and away the MOST QUIET DISHWASHER EVER!

Our Bosch dishwasher is great. It is so quiet that you don’t know it is on. The Bosch dishwasher does a great job and holds lots of dishes.

Never got a Bosch before but it’s been great. Amazingly quiet and gets the dishes really clean without leaving mineral residue from our hard water.

We looked at many dishwashers and decided on this one because it was rated the quietest. It is very quiet and clleans well also

The Bosch 100 Dishwasher is a great value. It runs quietly and leaves the dishes nicely clean. We chose it based on the Consumer Reports review and recommendation, which seem very accurate.

Kind of small inside, need to run the hot water for awhile before starting the wash cycle. Overall very happy with performance.
