This is the fourth Bosch dishwasher I have bought and installed in as many homes, starting over 15 years ago. This one may be my last. Out of the box, the door closes inconsistently - sometimes it closes completely and you can change the cycle options, other times it doesn't. The door also nearly always comes unlatched mid-cycle, leading to a partially completed wash. You have to press the door closed firmly, hope it latches, and hope it finishes - sometimes it does, though sometimes you have to repeatedly close the door to get the cycle completed. The cleaning is very good, and the interior design is very good - hence two stars instead of one or none, though this is far outweighed by the door issue.

It's quite sometimes you can't tell its's running. The instructions said just scrape off the dishes prior to placing in the dishwasher, but if they sit in the washer more that two days they are not as clean, some water on the dishes after running dishwasher.

I purchased this unit along with installation and warranty coverage. What a waste of my time!!!! My parents have had multiple Bosch dishwashers they have loved, ha I LOATHE this thing!!! Within the first 24-hours I called them as the entire inside was soaking wet and the soap was NOT dispensing. My salesman treated me as though I had NO CLUE how to use a dishwasher saying it just needed Jet Dry. I explained you shouldn't need an additional product in order for a dishwasher to do its basic job....wash dishes. I ran a total of 5-cycles on the first one, (along with the stupid jet dry, which it drinks like a fish!) with it only getting worse each time. Today they came out to replace the first one and in the first cycle did the EXACT same thing. So I am STILL hand washing ALL the dishes from my move, 2-weeks in, 2-dishwashers in and have to get an entire different model all together. Nothing but a total waste of time! DO NOT DO IT!!! They should take this model off the market all together!! I would rate it a big fat 0 if I could!

My new Bosh dishwasher is probably the best one I've ever owned. The dishware comes out spotless. It is very quiet while operating. I am very pleased with it.

I love this dishwasher, super quiet, and it does a great job cleaning dishes. My last dishwasher was loud, but I can't even hear this one.

I am very pleased with this dishwasher. It is definitely very quiet. You can barely hear it running. It does an excellent job of cleaning my dishes too.

Pros are it is quiet and gets dishes as clean as can be expected. Cons are dishes can be wet when removed from dishwasher and I do not like that it isn't quite as wide as American made dishwashers which leaves a small gap on each side where installed.

Quietest dishwasher we have owned to date. Everything comes out clean and dry as advertised. Not hard to operate.

Overall I think this is a great dishwasher. I think the cycle runs a little long, but washes great.

This is a really quiet dishwasher. Gets dishes clean . You have to use rinse aid for plastic items to come out dry. Still a really good dishwasher for the price .

If I could give this dishwasher 6 stars, I would! It was exactly what I wanted. I have had it for over a year now and it still works great. A++

I have really enjoyed this dishwasher. It cleans my dishes really well and has several setting depending on what you are washing. It is super quiet so I can run it anytime.

I can't say enough good about this dishwasher! It's extremely quiet and does a great job! It is so quiet that sometimes you can't even tell if it turned on!

My last dishwasher was a Bosch, so I chose it again. I've only had it a couple of months, but so far it does a great job of cleaning and is really quiet.

Read Consumer Reports recommendation and have to agree. Outstanding cleaning and super quiet compared to older Maytag it replaced. Very happy with purchase.

works quietly, minimum of noise, dishes are clean. a pleasure to have installed--had been without for 4 months--glad we got it, reasonably priced, no problems

It's been really fun to use. I used to have to be strategic about when I would run the dishwasher, but now I can run it even when I'm watching TV because it is SO quiet! The dishes come out clean, I just wish they came out dry. After some research it seems this is pretty common with newer dishwashers. It can get pretty humid inside so sometimes it gets a little smelly. I leave it cracked sometimes and that seems to help. I am very happy with my purchase.

Our Bosch Ascenta dishwasher is incredibly quiet and does a great job of cleaning dishes and cooking utensils. Nicely engineered to maximize interior space.

I bought this Dishwasher with a free installation. The installation done by the vendors was bad and they had to come and fix it again, but I am really happy with the dishwasher. The best thing I like about this appliance is that I can schedule the Dishwashing to start after few hours. Since I have a small condo, its really convenient evening run the dishwasher later in the night. Even without this, the dishwasher is pretty quiet.
