Was easy to install and meets all our expectations.

Although the same footprint as our previous dishwasher, after using a few weeks, we have noticed the layout is not nearly as efficient and we end up not being able to put as many dishes in it as before.

Needs a drying cycle. Everything is still wet after any of the cycle options.

We bought this Bosch the replace our older Frigidaire. We were very disappointed with the drying performance of the Bosch. Our old friend was drying much better than Bosch. My wife could bear with it only two weeks and we had to RETURN it. Some newer machines are skipping heating element for the sake of energy saving, but I want my dishes dry and rather spend more on the power bill.

I usually don't leave reviews... but in this case I have to. Did a lot of looking, reading and researching about dishwashers; even spoke to Geek Squad. Ended deciding to go with this brand. Didn't want to spend arm and a leg for something I would use a handful of times a month [we eat a lot of take out] but this was reasonable. Never saw it in person but wishing I did. Maybe I would've realized it REQUIRES a rinse aid to work properly and that's still not the best. Didn't have to buy rinse aid before on a cheap dishwasher. Maybe my fault for not reading eveything after I picked this one, but it's hard to return after being installed by Best Buy

I purchased this machine because of the Bosch name. It does not have a heating element. I exchanged for another brand.

I know there are *a lot* of positive reviews for this machine. And I know that Wirecutter loves it, but this machine is a complete disappointment for me, and every time I use this machine I wish I didn't have it. I would prefer to have my 26 year-old Kenmore back, if I could. Two major issues: - DEAD FISH SMELL - I will note that this problem is not unique to this dishwasher -- it appears to be endemic to countless modern dishwashers, but this unit definitely has it. The issue is that the dishes end up smelling like dead fish. It is often so strong that I cannot eat from those dishes without *thoroughly* hand washing them again first. There are countless reports online, and discussion threads that are years long filled with people trying to solve this issue. There is no magic bullet. People have reported success with a variety of techniques, some only partial success, some have never been able to solve the issue, and some will purchase a different dishwasher with their fingers crossed. And if you're wondering, our filters are clean inside. The problem was present with the very first cycle. - Absolutely TERRIBLE RACK DESIGN. Just awful. Like how can wirecutter praise these machines? It is designed to be used in a very specific way. The bottom really only works well if you have a lots of plates and thin bowls. That is just not our use pattern. We use lots of cups, deep bowls, pots, mugs, bakeware, and cheap storage ware. Because the design is so single-minded, we can only load approximately half the dishes compared to our old machine. Also note that one of the mounting clips for the moveable tines began to break within the first 3 weeks because it is apparently *very* easy to move the moveable tine in the wrong direction? Other notes: - I am coming from 26 year old kenmore with the rotating timer, a heating element, and the big lever handle that you flip from left to right to lock and turn on the machine. That machine began to die all at once. IT could have been saved, but it would have cost as much as this new dishwasher. - Sometimes new is nice. And while I didn't pick it out -- my landlord did -- I may have very well ended up selecting this unit based on the reviews. I was really looking forward to this machine. But that anticipation has quickly grown into a profound disappointment. It's something that I have come to lament nearly every day when I interact with this machine. - Air drying seems to work ok, Considering how hot the dishes get, it makes me wonder how much energy you really save with these units. I think I would still prefer a heater element in the base. - I haven't figured out a way to pause the machine and open the door without water spraying out when you open it. That might just be me. - It does in fact seem to clean dishes well enough. But it is not a magic box, and you will most likely need to remove / rinse egg yolk from your plate before you wash it -- as just on example. - The fact that it actually seems to clean the dishes to some effect, and that the drying seems to work decently, and that it really is very quiet, just makes the disappointment about the fish smell and poor rack design hit that much harder.

Nice and quiet, small, but does a pretty good job. The switch went out actually pretty quickly so the on off switch is very cheaply made which is unfortunate. Looking at Google. I guess this is a thing for this model.

This is a condensation heating dishwasher and doesn't dry the load completely. I need to do a cycle before going to bed or before leaving for work and this type of drying doesn't help me. I'm returning it.

Capacity is too small. Doesn't dry dishes. If you choose a hotter cycle to try to get the dishes dry, it starts to wreck the dishes. Stains appear inside the machine that need to be wiped off after every use.

It worked three weeks then it broke down. Tech came after three more weeks, ordered the parts. Since then nothing happened. After three months from purchase, this useless piece of metal and plastic is still not working, I have to wash dishes by hand and I am literally ticked off. Poor appliances and worse customer assistance.

I bought a new Bosch dishwasher on July 7. On December 10, the motherboard went out. Bosch can't service it until January 5. To top it off, if I pay another service company to fix it, I void the warranty. When it worked, dishwasher was fine, except for the racks which must have been designed by someone who never cleaned a real kitchen. (Tight slots only for plates and saucers on bottom rack. No place for bowls, pans, etc.) I won't buy another Bosch.

I guess it’s fine if you don’t mind hand drying every dish (and the machine) every day. Otherwise, avoid at all costs as this unit simply does not dry! I tried everything: Finish jet dry, adjusting the cycles, letting it sit for hours, etc. Dishes come out soaking wet every single time. Even my contractor saw the new machine and said “oh no, not a Bosch”. Wish I had known.

Not user friendly! Must be exact size dishes to fit in designated slots. Most small bowls take up 2-2 1/2 slots. Larger bowls take 1/4th of dishwasher. Very disappointed. Kathy Stenlund

Worst dishwasher purchase. The bottom shelf damages edges of plates and warped a metal pan edge. Top shelf leaves residue does not clean. Purchased geek squad who came out and said it was my own fault I must be loading it wrong despite others on Bosch website reporting plates with chipped edges. Bosch said I have to hire a company to come out and if they claim I must have loaded it wrong I have to pay for the service call. Bosch refused to send someone out or replace now i have a loss of plates and loss of $500 to replace the dishwasher. Waste of money and time! Next time I will buy a Samsung.

I'm really disappointed in this dishwasher. The soap dispenser doesn't open, it tends to stop mid-cycle, and it really doesn't clean very well.

Did not dry the dishes I wouldn't have bought it if I new it required a liquid to dry garbage suppose to be auto but I still have to turn it off

Small bottom part, doesn't even fit pots and pans.

Had I’d known this was not a heated dry I would have not purchased this brand ! Do not like the condensation drying at all

I purchased this dishwasher for my mother and she disliked it so much I had to return it. Her main complaint was it does not have a heat dry cycle. I didn't know that there were dishwashers that didn't have heated dry cycles.
