Why make a dishwasher without a dryer feature. I NEVER thought to check that. How many people want to hand dry their dishes? Not me

I bought this dishwasher on August 7th today's the 31st still does not work service man's been out twice if it's not fixed by the end of next week I will be putting it out at the curb

I LOVE this dishwasher. I read the reviews before I purchased, and I worried a little about the ones who said it didn't clean well or you have to use a special soap or it doesn't dry the dishes well. We have not had any problems with the dishwasher, and the dishes are so clean that they sparkle. We used our regular detergent (cascade complete) and a drying agent (jet dry). We did this in our previous Kitchen Aid dishwasher, which I was very disappointed with. With the Kitchen Aid, we had to basically wash the dishes before we washed them in the dishwasher to get them clean. I deliberately put dishes with food on them to see how the Bosch would perform, and it was amazing. The dishes came out sparkling, super clean, and dry. I think if you open it right after the end of the cycle, they are wet, but leave them overnight or a few hours and the dishes are dry--no condensation or drops or anything. I use my dishwasher 5-7 times a week. It is shockingly quiet. We could hear it running, but we could definitely watch tv without turning it up to compete with the dishwasher in the other room. I am so happy with this purchase. I went with Bosch because my sister-in-law had one that was also an excellent product.

I would like to review this item but I have to wait another month to have it delivered. Who knew it would take 3 months......

Buy something else this will not clean.three times wash still not clean, and I did not use it soon enough to return it so now i am stuck with it.

This dish washer has worked exactly once since we got it. The latch design is nonfunctional and after two service visits we are waiting for a part.... Why would you put a plastic latch device in a dishwasher?

The item was broken. There was a structural crack on the back of the unit and it leaked water all over the kitchen. If you purchase this, be sure it's sound. That said, it otherwise ran well and had the features we wanted. So, if you buy a functional unit, it should turn out well.

The feature that I appreciate most is how quiet this dishwasher is compared to others. It has been working perfectly, and I would purchase this same dishwasher again.

We purchased this unit during the remodeling of our kitchen based on information from Consumer Reports. It does an excellent job of cleaning the dishes, both in the upper and lower trays, and is remarkably quiet. The cycle times are a bit longer than those run by our previous unit and the silverware basket is nearly impossible to follow (if you use the instruction manual). Bottom line: This device cleans all of our items very well, is simple to use, and impossible to hear.

Purchasing a dishwasher turned out to be an epic adventure, well not really but certainly more involved then I had anticipated. Initially I looked at the ratings from CR which places the low to moderate priced Bosch units at the top of the pile. Additionally, Bosch had a high reliability rating. Based on decent price, good test rating, and good reliability rating, the search was completed. However, when I started checking the user reviews I encountered a roller coaster of posts either indicating it was the greatest unit ever, worst nightmare anyone could conceive, and everything in between. Although I noted the user reviewers on BB are predominantly positive. I have seen issues with other CR reviews where they rated a cheap item higher over other more expensive units and user reviews of the highly rated cheap units were horrible. In those cases it appeared that CR did a quick and dirty review and did not consider ergonomics or the long term performance, even though these were items that people generally own for several years and only replace when the unit fails. However, in this case most of the issues were not premature failure. Considering the high rating from CR and range of user issues, I decided to summarize the issues and try to understand what was causing them Long wash cycle and incomplete drying: Turns out the EPA has been increasing the required energy efficiency standards for dishwashing that forces them to use less water and energy. This has lead to longer wash cycles and less heat applied for drying. I read that activating a sanitary or heated dry option can reduce the drying time or more completely dry the dishes. I found with this unit that the dishes are adequately dried using the auto program, but items that pool water may not completely dry, such as bolls turned upside down, mugs, and similar. However this was an issue with the old dishwasher and is not an issue for me. Ineffective cleaning: Only saw a few of these reviews, and based on CR and user comments these appear to be isolated issues which may be explained by the individual user circumstances. We found the unit cleaned as good as or better than the old unit at its peak. Defective units: the complaints I read were not specific enough to understand exactly what was wrong and how Bosch had proposed or attempted to fix it. With any mechanical item there may be lemon units that could have been a result of poor design, assembly, handling or installation. Again hard to pinpoint from the limited information available, but currently not pervasive from what I have read. Our unit was well packed and easily installed with no operational issues. Less space than former unit: This comment along with any other comments related to an attribute that could be known or inspected prior to purchase is really not a valid point for reducing a review. If it was smaller than the old unit or the user doesn’t like the rack configuration it’s the users fault for not researching and inspecting the unit prior to purchase. In summary I think you are going to have a hard time finding a similar priced unit with the attributes and performance that match this unit. The low score reviews appear to be based on inappropriate expectations or unclear mechanical failures which may not be related to design of the unit. I will update or add a review if my experience changes.

As a single working woman, I am on the go... and I wanted the dishwasher brand that I was noticing on HGTV all the time... And so I picked up this little dream and brought it home. NOW... I do not use it 2-3 times a day. I use it maybe 2-3 times a week... if that... and I am in love. It is nearly silent when it is running, and my dishes can be in there for a few days, unrinsed, and are cleaned perfectly!! It is true... The dishes aren't all that dry when the cycle is done, UNLESS you push the sanitize button and add the Finish Jet Dry, like the manual tells you to do. THEN the dishes are pretty darn dry. Good thing I am single and they can sit for a few hours (ahem, days) and dry completely... Although, the reality is that any energy efficent dishwasher will not dry your dishes to perfection, so you just have to kind of get over that. Overall, this is a beauty and I love it.

From the 1st wash, dishwasher is not drying dishes. This was my 2nd Bosch. I wish I would have saved money and bought something cheaper.

The size of the cabin is smaller then expected. The upper and the lower rack is very poorly engineered. And for 50 db it is louder then our old 15 years dishwasher. The hand grip on the front dose not open or lock the door.

Overall, the dishwasher is good but it does not dry the dishes.

I expected better quality for this washer. The racks are thin and poorly coated. The utensil tray is adequate but cheap compared to our old Kitchenaid. There is no adjustment to the upper tray to accomodate tall items. The tub is only lined with a stainless shell., not solid .The pump motor is small. Cleaning is adequate although some cycles are way too long, even the normal cyale is almost 2 hours. If it lasts for 5 years, I'd be surprised. Either buy the more expensive models or get another brand.

I’m very disappointed in my Bosch dishwasher. Even with me pre-washing my dishes before putting in the dishwasher they still come out dirty and food residue. Also the racks are difficult to place dishes in.

This dishwasher works pretty well. It's quiet and it cleans the dishes really well. It's takes quite a while to complete a cyclemail, which is fine I can be patient. The only thing that drives me up a wall is the bottom rack. It is constantly falling off the track. This doesn't happen at random, it's every time. I would give this dishwasher 4 to 5 stars but that bottom rack makes me want to chuck it into the backyard and take a bat to it. Lucky for the dishwasher, I don't easily give into these impulses. Hope this is helpful.

We replaced our LG dishwasher because the pump stopped working and the cost of repair and 8 1/2 years of service compelled us to replace it. We chose this Bosch 100 series, but it has never fully cleaned evenly throughout the washer cabinet. Also, the plastics continually remain coated with a greasy film at worst, and a mirky look, but dry at best. The water supply is at 70 psi and It receives hot water from a RHEEM electric 27 kW 5.27 GPH tanless water heater, so the water is not the issue. I have tried several top brands and types of soaps and rinse conditioners with varying results, but never a result that closely compares to the LG that it replaced.

Have had it serviced multiple times and follow instructions perfect. It is not worth a penny.
