I had several glasses in my cabinet that I was going to replace because they were old and cloudy. I thought they were just scratched. Apparently, they were not. As soon as I ran them through this dishwasher, they looked like new!. I tell you that to illustrate just how wonderful this machine is. On top of that, I have to keep checking the panel to make sure it's actually running! I can't hear it! Yes, my hearing is fine. I had it checked. This machine is just very quiet. I can't imagine why you would want a quieter dishwasher than this unless you wanted to put it in your babies room.

This is a great dishwasher. Not too big though. It cleans the dishes. I only use the one hour cycle and I have had no problems with it. I usually leave the dishes in there overnight so most of them are dry by morning and the few that remain lightly wet I leave out to dry for an half hour. I have read a lot of reviews where people expect dishwashers to remove the food off their plates and scrub the dishes. The only thing any dish washer does is soap them, rinse them and steam dry them.

I have had many different dishwashers through the years, but this one really tops them all. It is very quiet, and gets everything clean. One con is that it doesn't have a very large capacity.

I have a Bosch dishwasher in a vacation home and absolutely love it. That is why I ordered one at my main residence when our old non-Bosch gave out. For the first month, our new Bosch smelled like a fish had died somewhere in our kitchen. After Googling it and seeing a lot of misguided sources of the smell, I finally called Bosch and found out that it was most likely coming from the "mastic" that is used in the door for sound-proofing. Apparently, sometimes during assembly, the mastic isn't cured, and it takes over a month of hot cycles to get the smell out. I'm sure we were just one of the unlucky ones, but just be aware of this. The smell has almost gone away after slightly over a month, so there is hope. Otherwise, it cleans very well and does a great job.

I've had my dishwasher about a month. It's really quiet and does a good job cleaning the dishes. The dishwasher doesn't have a heat dry but the dishes will dry, if you wait an hour or two after dishwasher completes cycle to unload. I run my dishwasher at night and the dishes are dry when I unload in the morning. The racks are positioned differently than my other dishwashers' racks. I'm learning the best ways to load the dishwasher. I'm happy I bought this product.

Dishwasher is very quiet. I am using the recommended cleaner and dishes come out very clean. An odor can develop, but cleaning the filter after each wash seems to prevent. Dishes also do not come out dry, but I just prop the door open an unload when dishes are dry. I am very happy with my purchase!

Our dishwasher broke and after several months of saving and researching, we went with Bosch. It is a great dishwasher - very quiet, very clean dishes. The only mark against it is the fact that the interior never gets completely dry at the end of the wash, keeping the top rack of dishes damp. This is mentioned in dozens of other reviews, so we were not surprised, but rather disappointed in how significant the moisture was. The solution we've come up with is to set the dishwasher to its highest dry setting, and then once the dishwasher is done, we open the door for a while to let it air out inside. Not perfect, but the rest of the performance of the dishwasher and the inconvenience of returning it means it's staying put!

I am satisfied with the actual "work" of the dishwasher -- it is quiet, and the dishes are clean when we're done, that's all fine. But the rack system is very poorly designed and it is a pain to load - I wonder sometimes if the dishes are so clean because you simply can't fit as many in there as in my old KitchenAid. The guidebook has multiple photos on how to load the washer, which you'll see include only your standard set of dishes -- as long as all you want to wash is plates, saucers, mugs, cereal bowls and some glasses, you'll be fine and the photos will be a big help. However you can forget about trying to include casserole or serving dishes, or pyrex glass food containers, etc. without having a ton of wasted space. VERY inflexible to load. I wish I had thought to see if my old KitchenAid racks would fit in this dishwasher before they trucked it away.

I have loved this dishwasher! It's quiet and generally gets my dishes very clean. The heating element went out recently and it will cost too much to fix and I'm going to replace it with the exact same model.

I replaced my Kenmore for the Bosch. It is so quiet and my dishes sparkle! I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Dishwasher is fine. Didn't have a good purchase experience with bestbuy though.

quiet, cleans well, holds lots of dishes, good cycle options

Our GE dishwasher stopped working suddenly, so we decided to go with a Bosch due to the raves about how quiet it runs. This is probably the only "rave" that came to fruition for us. The dishes-and the whole dishwasher for that matter-are soaking wet after they finish the dry cycle. I kept thinking I did something wrong, so I read through the manual and discovered the manufacturer practically requires you to use a rinse aid in addition to the regular detergent. I really don't like the idea of using more chemicals on the dishes, as I'm sure most progressive individuals would agree. Why would you have to use a chemical to assist the appliance in doing what it should do on it's own? I had an old GE that would dry the dishes effectively. Furthermore, the dish racks are poorly designed. You really can't fit as many dishes (top rack especially) as you should be able to. I even tried to arrange the dishes according to the manual, and it really doesn't work. I'm not sure what size dishes they tried to use in this dishwasher during production, but it is not practical at all. I will be returning it asap.

It took a couple of washes to get the hang of not having a heating element, which the Best Buy store manager told us about. Had to call the company a couple of times for clarity on instructions and have to say, of all the companies I have ever called for info, their customer service is second to none. Rep stayed on line and walked me through every step and did not hang up until she knew that I fully understood product. Now that we are use to it, we would never buy another brand. Dishes, glasses, silverware and other items all come up spotless. For the money, it can't be beat. As for quietness, you hardly know it's running. Super product!

I love this dishwasher. It gets everything super clean and does not make any noise. I never have to give a thought to when I’m running it, and everything comes out sparkling.

It's a little smaller than we were anticipating. Not sure how we missed that, but the shelves are just smaller. There is an on/off button which is a bit weird too. Once the cycle is done, the unit is still on and flashing the lights until you press off. Strange. Cleans pretty good though. It looks good

We've had this dishwasher since August 2012 and we love it. Did a LOT of research all over and almost got the 500 level, but didn't. Glad we saved the $300. This machine cleans extremely well and is very quiet. Yes, there are machines that are quieter but they cost 2x the price. I can "hear" it, but with music, tv, or conversation it fades to the background. Not a thing wrong with it so far. You can tell it is well constructed and made with quality parts/engineering. I like not having the "food grinder" piece. Clean up entails a 20 sec rinse of the filter once every 2 months and good as new. highly recommend this machine for those able to spend another 100-200 dollars on an item my house uses everyday!
