Machine is quiet and washes well Dishes come out dry happy with my purchase

Very quiet and does an excellent job cleaning a full load. Huge upgrade over the whirlpool I previously had.

I had heard good dishwashers are hard to find nowadays. But this one delivers. It takes over two hours most of the time, but it takes whatever you can dish out (ha ha). Frying pan with stuck on bacon. Clean! Cookie sheet with baked on crusty burntness. Clean! Greasy plastic containers. Clean! There are varying size places to put silverware--a great design. These results are from the auto or heavy wash cycles. I tried the express wash which only takes 35 minutes. It was 99% as good as the normal cycle! (One dish didn't get clean.) For the record, I used Cascade Action packs and the rinse aid that came with the dishwasher.

this dishwasher looks great and is extremely quiet. Fits quite a bit without overcrowding anything.

Love how quiet this dishwasher is. I like the stainless inside. Only thing is I wish the cycles weren't so long. A full load takes around 2 1/2 hours. Other than that I would recommend this dishwasher.

Very quiet, effective Dishwasher. Much better than my previous Samsung

We have had this washer for 2 months and it is great. We love the time delay so we can run the washer in the middle of the night. Everything we put in it, it leaves spotless. Only two drawbacks, nothing major for us: wish the rack was bigger and a slight smell after the first couple of weeks. The smell has either gone away or we have gotten use to it.

We have purchased almost all of our home electronics, and most of our appliances through Best Buy, and always had a pleasant experience... until we actually had a defective product. This dishwasher plays up to all the hype of clean and efficient. We have to open the dishwasher to even see if it's washing it's so quiet! While that is a great benefit, it does not outweigh the headache we have had with this dishwasher. BB came out twice to fix the dishwasher, with no luck. When we called Bosch, they asked we use their recommended service repair company, to get a second point of view. They just left our house after the SIXTH time to fix this dishwasher. Bottom line, Bosch is skimping out on the basic mechanical engineering knowhow of how to keep a dishwasher shut... and BB supports them. When speaking to the BB representative today, even though Bosch extended our warranty for this problem and we had these issues 8 months into owning it, because we are out of warranty, we are out of luck. She even stated that if it was still within warranty, they would have only been able to replace it if we purchased the extended warranty. WHAT? So basically, if you buy any appliance or electronic with BB, you better buy the extended warranty, because even if your within the manufacturers warranty, BB washes their hands of you unless you give them extra money, so just tack that on to the price you think you're paying. Trust me, after purchasing almost everything for both of our houses through BB, we will not spend another penny there or on Bosch.

The Bosch dishwasher is working well, somewhat quieter than I had before but the capacity is smaller than the same size dishwasher I replaced. Good tip is to bring your dishes to the store to try out before you buy. The service installation was perfect and very accomodating and fit into the space of a 37 1/2 unit.

Where do I begin? After three service calls on this model because it doesn't clean for manure we were told that nothing is wrong with it; except that whoever installed it didn't connect the right wire to the leads which prevented the unit from drawing enough amperage to dry the dishes. On top of that, he said that we were using the wrong detergent. Are you joking? So the tech connected the correct wire, and ran it several times only to find that it still doesn't get hot enough to dry the dishes. Then he said "For this model to actually clean your dishes correctly you need to buy Quantum from Finish", the expensive one ($.50 each). We had previously owned the SHE45M (last house) and it cleaned anything you threw at it. What Bosch doesn't tell you is that this model has one less motor to make it even greener that last year's models. That makes this model an even poorer choice because it never really gets hot enough to clean or dry your dishes. Bottom line: spend the extra $125 on the front end and don't worry about whether your dishes get cleaned or not, because it will magically happens.

I bought this for my tenant back in Jan 2018. He is satisfied with its cleaning and quietness. Good value. Geek Squad delivery and installation were great.

I read all the reviews about the door latch, and I bought this washer anyway. I read a review with an easy fix, and it WORKS. I bought some cheap wood shims, and wedged them between the top of the dishwasher and the underside of my kitchen counter, so that there's no "give" in the top of the dishwasher. I've had my dishwasher with the shims-fix for over a year now, and I have never had any issues with the door popping open or the latch not working. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the need to fix the latch. That being said, with this easy peasy fix in place, I LOVE this dishwasher. It fits so much in the space, it is so quiet, and my dishes come out so clean. I really couldn't be any happier, ESPECIALLY since I only spent around 500 on it. What a great washer for the price! Totally worth the investment in both the washer, and the wood shims.

Overall. we read a number of reviews on dishwashers before we made this purchase. We had a problem in our area with hard water which with our previous dishwasher left glasses with tons of spots. We thought our only solution was a much more expensive dishwasher - such as a Miele that have dispenser inside the machine for "dishwasher salt". We are very pleased to see that this Bosch - which does not have a "dishwasher salt" dispenser has been able to stop the spots on our glasses and silverware. It also has a stainless steel interior which keeps it smelling much better and with little need to run a cleaning cycle. This Bosch however does not have the 3rd rack for silverware so the silverware holder does take up more room. However, if you have a large load of dishes, you can remove the silverware basket for additional space. This Bosch does have the adjustable shelves - so you can increase the height for taller stem ware.

I chose this dishwasher for its name. I have had it for about 6 weeks and I am loving it! Very quiet and cleans very well!

We purchased The Bosch Ascenta from Best Buy on September 9, 2015, and it was professionally installed by Best Buy. The installer appeared to do an excellent job. The first thing we noticed was the horrible odor coming from the dishwasher. We were told that this was due to the fact that it is a sealed system and there is no dry cycle. So if the water sits in the dishwasher, it begins to smell. To remedy the problem, we should leave the door open to allow air to circulate! The door will not stay open unless it is at least 2 inches from the unit, an unsightly solution. The second problem we noticed from the first load, is the dishes are soaking wet at the end of the cycle, requiring drying! In addition, the biggest problem is the door on this dishwasher has had a major problem from the beginning, except it then got worse. The dishwasher door opens during the cycle (there is no latch that clicks when it closes), causing it to stop running partway through the cycle. Since Bosch dishwashers cannot be opened during the process, the dishwasher has to be started again. It now takes 3-4 times of running the dishwasher before it finally completes one load of dishes, usually taking the better part of a 24 hour day. We called Bosch who told us that if they found no problem??? (the dishwasher is still under warranty), we would have to pay for the service call ourselves. We finally went to Best Buy. The manager said we could exchange the dishwasher for another brand if we wished to do so. We obviously took them up on that, and the new KitchenAid dishwasher will be delivered tomorrow. We are a couple over age 65, so there is no one here that would misuse a dishwasher. We used to run the dishwasher every 2-3 days, but since this one has been here, it's been running constantly, but we rarely have clean dishes since they are always being rewashed in the dishwasher! We have gone through the largest size bottle of jet-dry, and are on our second super-size container of dishwasher detergent. This dishwasher has become a huge nightmare, which is saying something after almost 46 years of marriage and raising 2 grown children. We will be so happy to wave good-bye to this Bosch appliance, and vow to never buy a Bosch appliance for the rest of our lives. We only hope that the KitchenAid is a better choice. Consumer Reports must own Bosch to have rated this dishwasher so highly! I think we will be cancelling our subscription to that magazine if this is how well they rate appliances.

I've had this mode for four years, bought it because my Bosch up north was reliable, quiet and did a great job, for over ten years. Between being unable to stack dishes correctly, small size and two and one half hour cycle time it was a mistake. I dinner party for 8 can take at least three loads. But the real problem is the constant error codes, either E23 or E25. The first time it happened was a valid problem, a piece of glass stuck in the impeller . I repaired it and it worked fine for a few months. Now it happens on almost every load, almost every time. Notice the word almost. Most of the time I can change the wash cycle to regular and push the reset button and it works, sometimes. Seems to me it's a problem in the control panel that will be incredibly expensive to fix. So with the other shortcomings, I expect to have to junk it and get another brand. Purchased on 11/11/12.

Easy to control. Like the digital display. No rinse and hold cycle. Like the dishwasher but the inside is kind of small compared to other dishwashers in the same price/features range. I think it is a nice product and I would recommend it, but just understand the negatives.

Had the dw for about a month. Replaced one the builder of my home installed six years ago. Quiet,it cleans dishes. It's why I bought it.
