This is a great dishwasher for the price. Super quiet and a very good price point. Recommend. Looks great in the kitchen

I can't believe that anyone would write a good review about this dishwasher! I don't typically write reviews, but I thought I'd try to save someone from spending a lot of money on a dish rinser. In December 2010, we were upgrading our kitchen, and decided that even though it was still working, it was time to replace our 14 year old whirlpool dishwasher. We read some reviews and decided on the Bosch, BIG mistake! I want my old dishwasher back! First off, the dish racks are very awkward, and you can't put very many dishes in there. So even though I only have 2 people's worth of dishes to be washed, and I wash dishes every day, I completely fill the dishwasher on most days. Second, if you want to even remotely get the dishes clean, you have to put it on the longest dish cycle, which is over 2 hours! That's twice as long as my old dishwasher! Third, the dishes do NOT come out clean. As a matter of fact, the glasses in the top come out with food on them that weren't there to begin with. Fourth, It uses rinse aid like it's going out of style. I'm constantly having to refill the rinse aid. And if I use it without the rinse aid, the dishes really look gross. At first, I thought maybe something was plugging up the water holes in the sprayer (even though the dishwasher was brand new) so I took everything apart and rinsed it all out, nothing was blocking the holes. Then I though, maybe I'm doing something wrong, so I got out the book read it from cover to cover. I was loading it right, soap was right, everything was right...still dirty dishes. My husband doesn't want to go through the hassle of reinstalling another dishwasher, plus it's out of warranty now, so we can't exchange it and we'd be out over $600. I ended up emailing Bosch over 2 months ago, and they haven't even bothered to respond to my email. I feel completely ripped off! Bottom line, if you don't like washing your dishes by hand before putting them in the dishwasher, don't get this dishwasher.

Fantastic dishwasher! It's been in our kitchen since Nov 2020, and still works just as well, and as quietly, as the day it was installed. Absolutely the right purchase.

I love the countdown digital timer with on/off and start big buttons, the rack layout with the small 3rd rack for long items like tongs or a spatula. My water is 145F so I don’t have a problem with wet dishes that I see other people are having. Out cleans my previous more expensive DW

very quiet when running cleans the dishes well even though they recommend finish dish pods and rinse aid I still like my cascade platinum pods and rinse aide they clean a lot better then finish

Dishwasher works very well. The dishes come out clean without having to pre-wash. Due to the design of the rack system space does feel limited. Very easy to use and enjoy the quietness compared to our last dishwasher. Shopped around at Home Depot and Lowe’s before purchasing at Best Buy. Price was better at Best Buy and I was able to pick up same day at the Buford warehouse. Home Depot and Lowe’s were both four days out on shipping a dishwasher.

I am not a picky person and have never complained about an appliance online but this dishwasher could be the most horrible appliance ever made. It does not clean dishes- I have to re-run loads constantly even if I rinse the dishes first, has a ridiculously long wash cycle and has a terrible space design. It is quiet but that is all it has going for it. I would avoid this machine at all costs and I am trying to return it at this time. I thought the Bosch name would mean a good machine- very disappointed.

My only complaints would be that the dishes are not completely dry when finished, but I realize the drying system conserves energy and there are no exposed heating elements, which is good. I am also somewhat disappointed with the rack arrangement. I am learning better arrangements the longer I have owned it. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the quality of wash. My dishes have no residue and are spotlessly clean when finished.

When I first purchased and installed the unit through Best Buy, I was ecstatic. the unit is so quiet! The dishes came out fantastic. I was a bit surprised by the run time but, since I run the dishwasher at night, I didn't care. But then I'd wake up in the morning and realize that the dishwasher stopped working 10 minutes after I turn it on. then the games started. I had to run the dishwasher during the time I'm at home and in the kitchen so i can go by every 2 to 5 minutes to push the door in. We finally just wedged a broom between the door and the cabinets cross from it to keep the door shut. I"m on the phone with BOSCH right now hoping they fix the problem. Reading others' reviews, I'm hopeful. But since Bosch already knows of this problem, I'm surprise they haven't fixed it. :(

So far no problem,works good and cleans good,installed by my self without problem.recommended to buy extended warranty,just in case.

Quieter than our old one, but not as quiet as some other new dishwashers. Dishes are clean. Must clean out trap once a month at least. Happy with performance would buy again.

I researched all dishwashers! This was one of the top rated brands and it has held up to its top rates! It has been wonderful, we see the difference in how clean the dishes are and how quiet it is!! We had Lowes deliver and install this product and they were professional and very fast!

Very quite, dishes come out very clean and I LOVE the sanitize option.

bought at, delivered by and set up by Best Buy, ran 3 times, now door won't latch, 5 calls to Bosch, on hold for well over an hour, no one ever answered, 2 calls to Best Buy, on hold for over 30 min.s, no help, found a factory repair service on my own, now waiting for 2 weeks to get service, it is, however, very quiet - it doesn't run at all, the problems with the door latches on these machines seem to be cropping up everywhere and there is mounting evidence that this was well known to Bosch, at least, at the time of sale

Apparently Bosch knew about the design fault for a while. The door became unlatched during the dishwashing cycle after only 3 months of use. The Bosch repairman came with the part to retrofit the latch. He knew exactly what to do when I described the problem to him and after he verified the model number. I dislike Bosch for not being transparent about the design fault to its customers. What is the use of registering my dishwasher with Bosch? Look for a metal strip (the retrofitted reinforcement to hold the latch in place) on top of the door frame during a new installation. If you don't see the metal strip, the latch will fail.

Acceptable appliance, but racks are not the best for mixed loads of dishes, bowls, pots, & pans

This is a good machine and does everything it is suppose to do. Seems a little weak on features, but really all you need to do is wash dishes. I bought it because Bosch is highly recommended. It looks great against my other SS appliances and hopefully is lasts a long time to justify its higher price.

I bought a Bosch on the recommendation of the Best Buy sales representative hoping for a long lasting product. It worked fine at first and when it runs, it gets the dishes very clean. I paid for professional installation but I was concerned initially because the latch didn't seen to snap shut when closed and soon after we received it the dishwasher would stop running mid cycle. At first I thought my kids were opening it and not restarting, but eventually we figured out there was a problem. The problem worsened with time, and now the dishwasher door pops open and stops the cycle about every five minutes. I called Best Buy for help, and although it was a brand new product, they did nothing to help claiming that at day 35, they had no responsibility and I needed to call Bosch. When I asked to speak to a manager, the representative rudely hung up on me! I later called back, and spoke to a significantly more polite representative who provided Bosch's number and my model number, Bosch provided the names and numbers of authorized service people in my area and after a few days one was able to look at the machine, As I had suspected, the latch was bad and the repair person said he had seen four other Bosch machines with the same problem in the last four weeks, Of course, he didn't have the part, and needed to order it, so I am still waiting for a working dishwasher. I couldn't be more disappointed that a company like Bosch would let such a quality lapse occur. Worse, the way I have been treated by Best Buy and in particular the service representative who treated me rudely on the phone has convinced me to take my future appliance business elsewhere.

This dishwasher works great! Only once have the dished not come out totally clean. I had pots in and did not use the heavy cycle

Its very quiet but there is no self drying so dishes are always wet
