The company that sold it to me was going to charge me almost as much to fix it as it originally cost. Hello Geek Squad! They delivered, setup the Bosch and installed and got rid of the LG. This thing is quiet! And it does a great job on the wash. Stainless inside is nice. I love it!

Budget friendly and efficient

After price and consumer ratings review decided on this dishwasher and couldn't be happier! Lots of options for oddball size stuff and everything comes out clean. Yay! The only minor thing I don't like is that the bottom rack comes off track pretty easily. No big deal but a little annoying.

Bosch 100 dishwasher

Using the 'sanitize' setting helps dishes to get much dryer than without the 'sanitize' setting. Also, opening the door for a few hours after running the dishwasher helps the dishes to dry.

It will not shut off until you manually turn it off after it cycles. If you don't turn it off, it begins another cycle. Other than that, it's quiet and cleans dishes well. Just don't leave the house when the dishwasher is running.

Miss The Old Bosch

There weren't many models available so we picked this and waited three months for delivery. The problems are: This dishwasher is not as good as the last Bosch we had for 18 years. It doesn't dry unless we run it on the auto cycle. It used to take 90 min to wash dishes now it takes 150 min. plus 30 more min. for sanitize to clean if you really want them dry. The silverware basket holds water, keeping the silverware wet and it not very easy to use. I liked the square basket we had to I could just lift it out and it would not be holding water. I found another basket that fit better and ordered it, still holds water. The rinse agent indicator has never worked. I have to guess when it's out. It's not easy to see the names on the front even with the lights on. I have to use a flashlight to read the words.

The dishes dry quickly at end of cycle (naturally, no extra heat cycle) and glasses are sparkly clean! Also, I had the installation through BestBuy and the guy came alone and did a perfect job. Very neat and professional. And a Realtor friend came buy and was appropriately impressed - "Ooh, Bosch!"

The stainless steel exterior finish looks great with my other stainless appliances. It is very quiet! We weren't sure it was running. It is for a vacation home so I only have used it a couple of times.

To begin with the installation was slightly problematic due to the water inlet not being the 'normal' hose connection and no reference in the instructions as to the thread size. The digital operation and setup does take a little to get correct. You have to set the rinse time with a series of buttons that are not easy to accomplish at first. Then the display for different operations takes a little practice to accomplish easily. Purchased in the hope for a long service life. Time will tell.
