quiet and efficient. a great machine. Way better them my previous kitchen aid

Surprised that the installation could not be complete because of the hot water shutoff valve. The same valve is used in hundreds of new houses in this area but it was a complete surprise to Best Buy. The dishwasher works very well and is really quiet.

The dishwasher is quiet when it running it dries good with out using a steam cycle large area for dishes. Fit into smaller spaces than most dishwashers.

Difficult to install due to off protuberances in the rear near the bottom, but now it is great. VERY quiet, and cleans well on the 60 minute setting so it is efficient. Interior set up and flexibility good - and it holds a lot.

Also heard great things about Bosch dishwashers, and glad I listened. This feels like a very solid machine and gets our dishes sparkling clean in TOTAL silence (OK, I have bad hearing). Highly recommended.

I'm very happy that this dishwasher is quiet as a mouse..sometimes I wonder if it's ON! I also like the way it cleans the dishes, especially glasses. I'm not happy with the final result of plastics as they don't dry totally well. I'm also concern about a "plastic smell" that doesn't seem to go away. Not a bad smell, but it is there and I have a very sensitive nose. A friend of mine who has the top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher tells me she has the same smell on her model!! This is something Bosch should address.

A bit frustrated with 2 hour cycles and the lower sprayer comes loose a lot. But it works well and cleans great. Love how quiet it is

Needed to replace our old unit because the circulation pump went out. Instead of being able to just replace the motor, due to its age it required an entire kit that converted it to a newer style and wasn't worth fixing. This dishwasher runs very quietly. Looks great. And cleans better than the old one ever did. It took a week to get used to how to arrange everything with the different rack configuration and initially didn't think it held as much. But after some use I think we can fit every bit as much into it as the old unit. We use the electrasol tabs with the red dot. and filled it up with rinse aid and I love it as much as I can love a dishwasher. Install was easy, and the delivery was on time and it arrived undamaged.

So far, so good. Very quiet. Cleans well. Finish really clears glass. Only downside is odd 'plastic' odor ... just won't go away.

Great dishwasher. Gets the dishes clean and is very quiet. Has an unpleasant smell and the racks don't accommodate larger dishes very well.

It's a little smaller then my old one and like most New dishwashers it does not have heating coils for drying. It cleans well and is very quiet.

I originally purchased a Bosch Series 800 dishwasher on the advice of my son in law. The installation would have been difficult in my house because the water line comes in through the floor. I decided to return the Series 800 and get the Ascenta which has the water line on the side. This model is much less expensive. I admit that I had some reservations. The installation was professionally done by Best Buy. My dishes come out sparkling clean. Some of the reviews that I read mentioned issues with a door latch or dishes that don't dry. I did not have any of these problems. The biggest difference that I notice between my Ascenta and my daughter's Series 800 is that the 800 is quieter. The Ascenta is reasonably quiet and I am well satisfied.

This machine is nice and quiet and cleans very well. It has a smaller capacity than our old machine, which had the silverware basket in the door, but it's mostly just my husband and me so that's fine. New to us is the necessity for a rinse aid because there is no heating/drying element. (We use Seventh Generation, which got the best environmental ratings.) But no heating element means just one fewer part to malfunction. I love the little rack on top to hold larger utensils. Haven't tried the wineglass feature yet, but I will!

Purchased in December 2016 after 15+ years with the standard dishwasher that came with the house. This wonderful machine is so quiet I wasn't sure it was actually running the first time. Cleans great...just be sure you pay attention to the suggested loading diagram to ensure the best clean. Some reviews complained about the red indicator light - it points towards the floor and doesn't bother us at all...even our cat ignores it now. The only "con" for us is that we don't fill it quickly enough and with just 2 of us, after 4+ days...even if we rinse first (which isn't needed at all!)...it starts to smell when you open the door. But that doesn't qualify a lower rating from us. Highly recommend this or any other Bosch...can't be beat!

We stopped using our 13 year old dishwasher years ago and was very skeptical when an appliance repairman suggested we consider purchasing a new dishwasher. He assured us that with today's technology we'd save money on water and electricity if we went back to using a dishwasher. He also recommended that we get a 50db or less machine. This dishwasher does an amazing job getting our dishes clean and is so quiet that we have to look for the indicator light on the floor to make sure it is running. So far, our electric bill has gone down $7. It's not a huge amount but every little bit helps.
