Should have bought Kitchen Aid as my previous unit worked better than this Bosh unit

Good product. Works well. Good sound control. Not too noisy!

This is my second Bosch; I've had it for 6 months. The first one broke down shortly after the warranty expired, and the repair was too expensive, but I had liked it enough to replace it with another Bosch. I did not have time to shop around so I went with this one as it was a Consumer Reports' best buy. Pros: it is very quiet, looks attractive, and does a great job of cleaning and drying the dishes. The top rack is adjustable, there is no exposed heating element, and is easy to load. It's reasonably priced. Cons: unless the washer is in a cycle where you can hear the water moving inside, it is difficult or impossible to tell if it is running without opening it. There is no display, only a few LEDs which are not visible unless the door is open. To start it you have to push a button and close the door within four seconds, but it doesn't always start right away which makes you wonder if you closed it in time. There is no display indicating how much time is left in the cycle, even if you do open the door. My old Bosch shined a light on the floor while it was an operation which was a great feature, but sadly this one does not have that. It seems like this is a very simple thing to add - not sure why Bosch chose to remove it! Once the cycle is completed and you open the door, there is a "clean" LED that comes on, but it is only lit that first time you open it, which can cause confusion if you live in a household with multiple people who open the dishwasher but do not unload it right away. Finally, the machine is preprogrammed to beep at the end of the cycle, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a quiet dishwasher. The operating instructions did not say how to turn this off; I had to call customer service to find out how to do this. I wouldn't say I am dissatisfied with this dishwasher because it is quiet and cleans well at an affordable price, but I would not buy this particular model again.

We bought a Bosch dishwasher that had a flaw and it ruined our floor. We bought a new dishwasher and it is also not working. We have been waiting for a replacement for two months. Twice they told us they were going to deliver the replacement then they cancelled a couple hours before and claim it’s in transit.......but no one can tell me where or when. I have spent H O U R S AND. H O U R S on the phone getting NOWHERE!!!

So far this is a great Dishwasher. Love the design

Have to use special rinse aid to keep dishes fairly dry. Not a huge fan. Louder than kitchenaid.

Both the drain and the electronics failed in November 2021. The technician said that it was not repairable. Very disappointed by the lemon from a top rated manufacturer. I should be getting a partial refund at the very least.

Got it open box, had to return it it wasn't complete.

It doesn't dry the dishes. The soap door is hard to operate. It doesn't always start when pushing the start button. The dish arrangement is difficult. Settings are difficult to figure out. It has an odd smell between washes.

I bought this dishwasher because I needed to buy a dishwasher 24in or smaller to fit under the counter otherwise I probably would not have chosen it. Its ridiculous that it doesn't have a drying mechanism. You have to leave it open for a couple of hours after the cycle is finished for the dishes to dry. If you don't mold grows and the dishes and water smell. You have to unscrew a hatch in the bottom to clean it at least 2x a week. It doesn't flush out automatically. Its the absolute worst dishwasher I've ever had. I wish I could give it 0 stars because 1 is being generous. Will never buy a Bosch again.

I have only used this once. Seems slow to do the job, but only used once.

Bought this dishwasher because it was the highest rated by Consumer Reports. Unfortunately it never worked despite 9 days of troubleshooting. Gave it a 2 star only because it looks nice.

This model was top rated on Consumer Reports. I thought the Bosch would be an upgrade from the KitchenAid I had for years. It was a LOT noisier than my old KitchenAid! There was very little insulation on the sides and none on the kick plate in the front. It didn’t fit in the standard 24” space we have either. The rubber flap on sides didn’t close the gap. I called Best Buy and they allowed me to return it and I bought the new KitchenAid. It is SO MUCH QUIETER and fit perfectly! No comparison.

Excited to get the heralded Bosch Dishwasher. Used it for 8 days. On the ninth day it died. Would not start. Useless.

Ive only run one load and the dishes were super wet when I unloaded them. The sales person told me to run it on sanitize so they would be dry when they were done washing. They were still super wet. Also, it has a funky smell. Used once and the dishes were rinsed before hand and there are no dishes sitting in it. I was so excited to get a dishwasher and even more excited to get a Bosch, but I'm super disappointed with it and wish i would have researched first.

After a couple of years it has a few glitches that are very annoying. But, I had Best Buy install it and the glitches are 100% in fault to poor installation.

It didn't work after the installation. We had to wait a week before anyone would come to look at it. The motor wasn't strong enough to push out the water. We returned it and went with the reliable Whirlpool.

Did not last four years and first started giving us issues after just two years.
