I was super excited for my first dishwasher but once we began using this we noticed the racks were horrible. They are propositioned so you can only put certain things in certain places and it’s a puzzle mess.

We needed to replace a Kenmore dishwasher that I loved since the Sears repairman did not want to fix it even though the repair was 1/2 the cost of a new dishwasher. So we decided to end our long relationship with Sears and try Best Buy. I read lots of reviews and did so much research before deciding on this model. The Labor Day sale that included free installation sealed the deal. The Geek Squad installed the dishwasher perfectly. This dishwasher looks beautiful but it is much smaller on the inside than my beloved Kenmore and the racks are so close together. The Bosch I purchased does not have a digital display so trying to figure out how much Rinse Aid to dispense was difficult and I still don't know if I programmed it correctly. My biggest complaint is that the bottom rack comes off the track frequently and it is so annoying. I need to have someone come out and look at it because I have had it less than a week and it happens every day. Today 2 of the little wheels fell off the side of the bottom rack and we had to put them back on. Overall the dishes are very clean, but the cycle takes so long to run. Yes, the dishwasher is quiet but the other design flaws make me miss my Kenmore a lot.

Bought this one at our old house and needed for the new one as well.

After looking at several models and reading reviews we decided to purchase this dishwasher several months ago. Bosch is a well known brand and we were very excited to be upgrading from our old GE dishwasher. The unit was installed by Best Buy contracted installers and that process was very simple and worry free. The unit looks very nice and we were very pleased with our initial use of the washer. It cleaned so much better than our previous washer. The controls were easy to manage and were hidden under the edge of the counter for a cleaner aesthetic appearance. The stainless steel tub is very nice. It didn't seem to have quite as much room as the GE but it was sufficient for our needs. This washer was extremely quiet. Most of the time we couldn't even tell it was running if it weren't for the red LED light that was broadcast onto the floor while running, which is a very nice feature. All in all it functions very well with the exception of one major problem, which is why I am giving 3 stars... The only thing wrong, or potentially wrong if you are considering this unit is the latch system. About 2 months in we started noticing that it hadn't finished its cycle after being started before we went to bed. We woke up the following morning to the unfinished cycle. Upon closer inspection we noticed that the door was not shut. We ran trial and error on it for several weeks. Some of the time it was fine and would complete its cycle and some of the time it would not. Over the last month we noticed that it was only getting worse and more frequently it would not complete its cycle. Finally I had no choice but to call the store and discuss the situation. Best Buy Customer Service was EXTREMELY helpful. I cannot say enough nice things about the level of customer service and professionalism they displayed. They took care of the situation and I am currently awaiting a replacement to be delivered and installed. Thank you Best Buy for making a potentially stressful situation a completely worry free one. So, in summary, if you want to take a chance on the latch functioning appropriately then this would not be a bad choice. If the latch on our unit was still functioning properly we would be very happy with it. Unfortunately, after speaking with the installer, this is a fairly common occurrence with this model. We chose to go away from Bosch for this reason and for this reason only. Thank you.
