What a disappointment

It has been a huge disappointment, and I wish I'd paid attention to the negative reviews instead of the high positive average. I've had many dishwashers in my life, but this is the first where I have to clean out a food filter every couple of washings. Even doing this I have ended up with food stuck to dishes. It's gross and not what I expect from a reputable brand name in 2019 when I bought it. My sister-in-law had a Bosch, and I fell in love with it. Waited years for ours to break before buying one. Very disappointing. The positives: beautiful to look at, love the upper, third rack, and it is quiet.

Posted .Hi elizadams, we're sorry to hear of the problems you're experiencing with this dishwasher. Here are some tips we hope will help improve the results:
1) Scrape loose food particles (i.e. bone, peel, seeds, etc) from dishes before loading into the dishwasher.
2) Make sure you're using Finish Complete detergents and JetDry rinse agent.
3) Adjust the rinse dispense amount according the water type for your area.
4) Check to see if the wash/rinse water is heating up properly, by slightly opening the dishwasher door in the middle of the cycle. If steam escapes, this is a good indication the dishwasher is properly heating the water to wash/rinse temperatures.

Does a good job of cleaning and drying on the automatic cycle - haven't noticed any problem with plastics coming out wet. Third rack is great for knives.

It washes great. It’s easy to load because of its adjustable racks and tines. It is very quit. The drying efficiency is where the half star is taken off. It could dry a little better.

Best Dishwasher Ever

Very easy to operate, to date have never had to re-wash anything, and it's so quiet that for the first week I would place my ear next to the machine to hear if it was working. Very happy with our purchase.

I read articles and researched online comments for several brands before deciding on the Bosch brand. Best Buy had the best selection of floor models to look at. I chose the 300 series because it had features I wanted & a price I could afford. Most of the new models do not dry plastics very well and it's not as quiet as I thought it would be, but overall it does a great job with my dishes.

It works with dishwasher tablets. Dishes with some food on them will emerge clean after a cycle. This dishwasher is also notably quieter than the Ascenta. I can barely notice that it is on.

very quiet dishwasher

It is slightly smaller than the Kenmore that it replaced . Very easy to install. The only con I have is that there is an interior order, mright out of the box. The online fix is to purchase a product called " Dishwasher Magic " and run a load with this product. We did, and the smell is gone.

It took a while to get used to the different style and ways of loading dishes and silverware. It is so quiet that I initially thought it was not working, The complete cycle takes over two hours but the time remaining is displayed on the front panel.
