Great dishwasher! I had to replace a 3 year old Frigidaire that stopped working. Good upgrade, I have been using it for two weeks and the highlights are: third rack allows to stack utensils from a party of 10, I intentionally did not rinse the plates or utensils, just removed the food and they cleaned perfectly, I am using seven generation detergent and I refuse to use rinse aid. The only minor concern - I find that newer dishwashers do not dry 100%, The old Bosch that I had 10 years ago was able to do that, however the new one dries better than Frigidaire it replaced and if you leave the dishwasher closed for about 4 more hours or overnight everything is almost 100% dry.

After my Whirlpool washer, which had served me faithfully for 15 years, finally gave up and stopped draining, I decided to upgrade to a Bosch washer. I must admit, I should have made the switch sooner. This Bosch washer is surprisingly quiet. I have to check the indicator light to determine if it’s on. Overall, it’s a great unit, and I appreciate the three racks. It offers a variety of washing options, and I like the user-friendly app interface.

Purchased Bosch SHE53C85N to replace 13-year-old KitchenAid dishwasher based on review sources like Consumer Reports, Yale Appliance Blog, etc. While this model - our second Bosch over past decade – is quiet and seems to clean dishes acceptably, it’s highly lacking in overall quality compared to KitchenAid it replaced. Installation was straightforward, but overall product quality is sorely lacking especially for $1,000+ machine. Front door, as well as upper, middle and lower racks feel cheap and flimsy. And for over $1,000, still have to manually clean filter. In addition, as many others have said, if we want dishes, glasses and flatware to dry, either need to leave machine open half a day or dry everything by hand. IMO, this model is mediocre at best and I do not recommend it.

Washes brilliantly, dishes have never come out of our previous dishwasher as clean! Glasses are spotless. The third rack for flat utensils and silverware is great. Everything feels sturdy and well built. Dishes come out totally dry and handles plastics well. Quiet even on the heavy setting, smart features are a nice plus; you can choose to prioritize different things (sound level, sanitization, cleanliness, etc) with Smart Wash and even change button sound levels.

I love this Bosch 300 Series 24" Front Control Smart Built-In Stainless Steel Tub Dishwasher with 3rd Rack and AquaStop Plus. We had to replace our previous dishwasher because my husband accidentally splashed water on it, causing the computer part to die—dishwasher not waterproof, how ironic! However, this new Bosch model has been a solid replacement and did not disappoint. This dishwasher is the quietest one I have ever owned, operating at just 46dBA. It’s incredibly powerful, and all my dishes come out perfectly clean every time. The 3rd rack is a fantastic feature, providing extra space for utensils and smaller items. The stainless steel tub feels sturdy and durable, and the AquaStop Plus technology offers great peace of mind against potential leaks. One of my favorite features is how easy the filter is to clean. The design angles the dishes in a way that makes them easy to stand up, unlike my old dishwasher. Overall, it’s a solid purchase, and I highly recommend it. Let's hope my husband won’t splash water on this one!

Dishes really come out clean and shiny. It’s super quiet. Can hardly hear it. Only thing I don’t like is the new racks. Can’t seem to fit my pots and pans the way I used to in the last 2 washers. My long stemware glasses don’t fit. There is no way to get them to be put in right. Then the worst was the silverware tray. Who uses a small tray. I had to call my plumber to quick bring me back my old tray, since it’s a long one. I took out the flip silverware thing on top rack, I needed that space for dishes. Overall I am happy with the washing part. It’s just trying to figure out how to make this new way work.

It cleans well & is very quiet. However, all of the cycles are too long & I can't use the stemware holders as my wineglass stems are too wide.

Excellent dishwasher. Huge improvement over the builder model ones. Very quiet and stays super clean! Be sure to use a drying agent (non toxic version) to get dishes dry though.

This is a great dishwasher, purchased based on multiple good reviews from trusted sources. It's even quieter than advertised! Excellent cleaning, and very easy to load. The adjustable middle rack is great. Dries well, except for large plastics.

I bought this because it is white and had all the features I was looking for. It is very, very quiet! I can hardly tell it is running. It is roomy, and I have found the 3rd rack useful. Dishes are clean and dry, except for the bottom of mugs put in upside down and not tilted.

Some what quiet dishwasher. If the washer is not full especially the third upper rack can be noisy. The controls are easy to use. I have not downloaded the app yet. Overall it does a terrific job cleaning, some plastics containers do not dry completely.

Very quiet. Cleans great. Doesn't dry the best even after the extra dry cycle, feels like the washer never heats up. The configuration fits a out 30% more dishes then the old dishwasher.

We love this dishwasher. It's incredibly quiet - we can easily talk or watch TV in the same room while dishwasher runs and don't even notice it's on. Cleans the dishes really well and love the organization and the 3rd rack is really helpful!

I am so happy with how it cleans and it's quietness. I am disappointed with the size of the single silverware holder.

Very quiet normal cycle about 2.5 hours. Lots of room to load plates but more limited for bowls big and small as well as glasses and mugs. Top shallow shelf for flatware and very small bowls and lids be sure to put right side up is actually almost wasted space. Takes time to load spoons, forks etc in to little slots. Too much water at end of cycle. Need to use extra dry feature. This is 300 series. I was not interested in too many “bells and whistles.”

This dishwasher is super quiet with everything except draining. I'm very impressed with that. Also, it holds a lot more dishes than our old one did. With just the two of us, we run out of dishes before it is full, lol. We have used it between 5-10 times & it washes pretty well. We had one time that it didn't do a good job - we're not sure why. It is terrible when it comes to drying. I'm not sure why they can't make these new machines get hot enough to evaporate the water. Sure, our old machine left some water on plastic. But this machine leaves water on most things. Especially plastic & silverware. It would be good to be able to leave the door open just a couple of inches, but it's either closed or all the way open. And the racks seem flimsy when compared to our old machine, and they don't glide in & out as smoothly as our old ones did. One thing missing is a light that says the dishes are clean. There is no indicator for that.

This thing is great. Quiet, cleans well, and easy to use. The only cons are the racking system isn’t very flexible and it doesn’t dry the dishes very well.

QUIET!! Its running now and i dont gear it. Efficient, looks nice too. First time Bosch owner. Glad we bought it. Like the auto option which chooses how long to wash and dry for best option.

Best Buy installers did a great job, they knew what they were doing. I prefer Bosch, last one lasted a long time. I bought the 300 series. It's quiet, cleans well. Only "cons", it doesn't have a "quick wash" and for two people that works best. Also, Bosch has moved the silverware holder to the back side, it was much easier to load when it was on front side. All in all, I would buy again as I believe Bosch is well made.
