Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In looking for an upgrade, I was searching for the 3rd (top) rack, adjustable rack that moved up and down to adjust for different size dishes and foldable prongs in the bottom were a bonus. But most important to me was that it WASHED the dishes. This model had everything on my wishlist plus was the recommended brand by store reps and reviews. The only thing left to test was the performance of dishwashing. Turns out it's about equal to my previous 1990's model that requires prewashing everything and will spread around sticky or greasy residue left on dishes, making some dishes dirtier than when they went in. The reviews all raved about how quiet it was. They're correct - it is quiet but I would take a noisy dishwasher that washed the dishes. If you don't mind prewashing everything, I'd recommend this except the fact that every 5 washes or so the detergent door doesn't open or opens late, leaving the detergent packet undissolved or partially dissolved on the door when the load is done.

Regarding the wash results, pre-washing dishes can actually work against getting great cleaning results as you're actually removing food residue that activate the enzymes in the detergent to properly clean the dishes. We recommend simply scraping loose food from dishes before loading them in the dishwasher. Then let the dishwasher, with high temperature wash water and Finish Quantum or Complete detergent do the rest. Make sure you're also using JetDry rinse agent for great rinse and drying results. Our second Bosch dishwasher

In our new (older) home the dishwasher needed replacement and we bought our second Bosch. It is quiet, efficient, and keeps our dishes really clean. Every dishwasher rack seems to require adjustment to your set of dishes and if you use bowls often, this seems a bit inefficient to load. We are figuring it out, though, and that is a tiny complaint. We love this dishwasher and it is a great value.

The top rack for silverware is ok. We might prefer the extra room for tall glasses. But the adjustable middle rack is helpful. I wish it had the towel bar handle like our old one. Nice and quiet as desired.

Top layer is very useful for spoons and folks, and the bottom two layers have good space and organization to put in a lot of dishes. The best buy delivery and installation team was very professional and get in and out within 30 minutes. Great experience overall!

Long wait but it was 100% worth it. Install was easy even for first timers like myself. It is super quiet and cleans very well. The inside layout utilizes the space much better. We don’t have to run it everyday like the old dishwasher. Fit and finish were perfect when delivered. We highly recommend this one.
