Bought it because ir was one of the best rated by consumer reports. It was not what I expected at all. It leaves dishes dirty. Sometimes I have to clean it myself. I would return it if I could.

Does a good cleaning of the dishes, and does it very quietly, but leaves water standing on the items that have depressions of any kind on the top side as they wash and the entire inside surface of the washer is left very wet, dripping wet. It does this on every cycle choice even with "Extra Dry" selected. It does this even when left to dry for 24 hours or more. Have to dry some dishes by hand and have to wipe dry the inside of the machine. Every time. Love the top rack.

When our new Kitchen Aid went kaput after just four years, we decided to go with the Bosch, which our installer had recommended. We've now had our new Bosch for four months, so here's what we've observed. The pros: It cleans REALLY well, much better than the Kitchen Aid, and despite the somewhat annoying arrangement of tines on the bottom rack, our family of four now only needs to run the dishwasher once a day, rather than twice, as we had to do with our old dishwasher (this despite having everyone at home right now and using more dishes that we would under ordinary circumstances). The third rack is great, we use it for small bowls, measuring cups, flat plastic sandwich containers, and odd-sized kitchen utensils that in our previous dishwashers took up valuable space on the main racks. No more! We never use the drying function, just the rinse aid, yet almost everything in the dishwasher ends up fully dry, even plastic containers (just the lids have water trapped around the rim, but that's to be expected). This is a big improvement over our Kitchen Aid, which left more water on plastic on on glasses than the Bosch -- and that was using both rinse aid AND the drying function. And it is definitely quiet. Only thing you have to remember is to run the hot water in your sink a few minutes before starting the dishwasher, as this dishwasher does not come with a heating element like others and relies on the water already being hot when you start it. The cons: It may not seem like a big deal, but the bottom rack on this dishwasher will drive you to despair. Once the rack is fully loaded, it inevitably falls off the track the moment you push the rack in. Every. Single. Time. My husband now refuses to load the lower rack because it makes his blood boil. I have searched everywhere online for a solution to this (it's a common problem) and there does not seem to be one. You can literally make 10 attempts to side the rack in before you're finally successful. Why such an otherwise intelligently designed product would have such a terrible lower track system is beyond me -- neither of my two previous (cheaper) dishwashers ever had this issue. Even more unforgivable is that after this amount of time, the company has not designed a solution, despite the numerous complaints that can be found online. And just to be clear, you can be as careful as possible to push it straight in, from the center, keeping it as even as possible on both sides, but just one slight bump that shifts the rack a hair to the left or right, and the whole thing goes crashing down onto the bottom. Then you have to lift the whole rack up and struggle to put it back on the track again, which is no fun when it's fully loaded with plates. Great for your biceps, not for your sanity. Bosch needs to get it together and figure out a better wheel and track system to prevent this from happening -- and, while they're at it, create greater flexibility with the tine arrangements, perhaps more fold-downs so you have more options for large bowls or pots. This would otherwise be a five-star dishwasher.

WE are very happy with the value for the money. The promised quiet is true and the three trays allow for great flexibility in loading. The unit was installed professionally and in a timely manner.

Installation guy charged $100 because of the hard wire. Which I didn’t expect because I had the same Bosch different model. Little bit upset with that. Machine works good like it.

Happy with our purchase. Very quiet! Love the 3rd. rack for silverware and utensils. Takes a little longer to run a cycle but dishes are clean.

Was able to purchase on sale with free delivery and installation. Was quite a deal since that took an hour & half. Very professional job. They even took the time to show features in home!

This is my second Bosch. The improvements they made to this one make it even more versatile. Not a fan of the funky electrical or water hookups. Both could become a potential problem in the future.

I read Consumers Reports before purchasing this dishwasher. It has been a great purchase. Now, if someone other that me would load it!!!

It a very quiet, efficient machine that cleans dishes well on the 60 speed setting. There has been an odd “fishy” like odor since we purchased the machine and it seems other reviewers have noticed the same thing. My husband has cleaned the filter but it seems like there is something inherent about this machine. Our prior d/w was 13 years old and even in the summer NEVER smelled like this one does. I am hoping it wears off or minimally does not get worse.

We are very satisfied with our purchase of Bosch dishwasher. Really happy with how quiet the wash cycles are. The cycle is a bit lengthy though. Overall, happy with purchase.

This dishwasher replaces a Kenmore that lasted less than 3 years. It seems to clean effectively, but the dishes are never completely dry.

The washer is very quiet and it seems to clean very well. Still learning how to fill the dishes the most efficient way. The third rack is very helpfull.

Bosch is worth the wait. I could not get the model I wanted as there is such a backlog but any Bosch is better than other models!

The dishwasher that we wanted to purchase was out of stock everywhere. We were guided to this Bosch by a couple employees. It cleans well. TERRIBLE at drying! Even on the highest setting it fails to dry. We have since sold the home and have a better dishwasher at our new home. Would not recommend!
